Double raising has existed since the first iteration of the game. It's pretty annoying because when you use swift cast, thin air and then raise -- it's 3 spells which takes time to trigger them all in the scope of everything and it also has CD which gets wasted.
Has SE ever mentioned any hint that they would refund the spells to whoever was second? It can be the difference between life and death when nobody has swiftcast or enough MP to raise and seems to be beneficial to those who do use voice chat versus those who don't use it. I know Yoshi P is big at keeping everything contained within the game for "equality" so this is why I bring it up in hopes for those of us who don't care to ever use discord to have the same equal treatment.

If anything, Swift- and Dualcast should be reworked in a way where it cant be used for Res. Most Healers dont even attempt to hardcast Res anymore, at least on Chaos Datacenter, since they are way too used to simply wait on swiftcast.

Dual cast/swiftcast are 100% fine as is, the ability to recast over and over on same person is the fault that needs fixing.
