I'd be surprised if there was.
I don't expect they'd make something that added a possibly wonky looking animation since it'd require a slight yet important change in positioning of the model? It's much easier to just make them all generic.
I think a few the arrow goes through the middle of the whole thing though. Like the Ironworks one it just has a ring the arrows go through.
Japan is the country of Kendo (the way of the sword) and Kyudo (the way of the bow).
And that historically a samurai is mostly fighting with a bow at the time shown in Ghost of Tsushima.
The majority of Japanese and manga artists ignore the correct posture of archer and samurai fighting with katana.
Having been a Kendo practitioner for many years, I'm rather disappointed with the Samurai stance, but hey, I can live with it.
I have seen many manga of samurai who have a completely incorrect posture. So it's annoying for an archer as well as for a kendoka, but that's the way it is.
OP; the design of the bows themselves are made with a left-hand grip in mind. Just like in Kendo where the practitioner is expected to use a left-hand grip even if they're left-handed, it's the same in Kyudo; you always hold the bow in the left hand. Given the designers take their inspiration from Japanese martial arts, I can't see them ever making a left-handed animation or bow.
I'm glad I'm not the only one! While I did kendo for a little while before moving to a place that didn't have a club, the "action manga" stances do get to me. I did grab a book on kenjutsu and tooled around with that for a little bit, but I can't remember if the stances in the game are close to Killy-Killy vs. Let's Score Points. I have done archery for a long time and had the pleasure of watching Kyudo while living in Japan and I've got to say the Elezen bow animations are pretty good from that point of view. I definitely appreciate that!
Slightly offtopic, but I would kill for an UI command to hide the quiver.
I love that every bow adds an unique quiver but sometimes the clipping drives me nuts.
Additionally, the same for MCH's lunchbox would be neat.
Considering how laughable Kendo is as an 'art' I think we can do without your pseudo-intellectual waffle thanks. Irrelevant self-bragging, if it can even be called that and hardly relevant to what they asked.
Games usually stick to easily repeatable standards for animations and reskins. So I wouldn't count on any extraneous effort. Doesn't get much more complex than that.
the most beautiful bow i have ever seen was a realm reborn reliquia, it looks huge, and its an Harp.
>Kendo
lol
The box made somewhat sense before the MCH rework because the box contains your spare bullets and tools like a wrench that you used during certain animations (old Hypercharge and your two Reload abilities for example), but those all got pruned out of the game at this point.
It's not just a toolbox and an ammo pouch, it's an aetherotransformer, a magitecknical gizmo that makes your bullets from your body's aether, so without that, you have no bullets (basically you're firing 'magic bullets' of aether and not real ones made of metal and propelled by gunpowder or a similar explosive), and that lore is still current even with certain abilities that also drew on it's lore being removed.
