So for a while now, I've found it a bit weird that when you use the aesthetician's services that you're only left with such a small amount of options to alter for your character:
Rather than having each of the base options available to you:
This is probably a redundant topic but would anyone be on board with SE implementing deluxe services from the Aesthetician to provide you with each of the options for your chosen race but for an extra upcharge of Gil?

Would be nice if they did. Doubt they'd want to cut into fantasia sales but it'd be nice. WOW expanded its barbershop greatly over the last expansion or so and greatly expanded what you can change for gold there, would be nice to do anything short of race/gender changing with him instead of getting a fantasia.

They could theoretically expand into more options, but not sure if they ever will.
I wouldn't mind seeing skin tone, eye color, and voice being options to change (especially since there's not really a way in the character creator to tell if your character will use battle grunts that you find annoying to hear) But they will never expand to all the options. -

You could do something like charge 1M for using the expanded options. 1M is fairly easy to get for most people but it can take some time if you aren't a crafter; it also would add up to a significant chunk of gil for a fantasia addict. Some people may think $10 for a fantasia is better than 1M, others might see it differently.

It doesn't need the fantasia-specific options because fantasia.
However, they should add hairstyle and makeup to glamour plates. They could repurpose Jandelain's Tokens so that it costs a token each time you want to modify the hairstyle on a plate. -

Coming from games where you had the character editor cash item for $15-20 and then the full race editor combined with the character editor for $20-30 I kind of just accepted.

When the first racial upgrades were brought in many players were very upset because there was no way for them to make their character still look like the character they recognise. It actually caused quite a lot of drama. But that was Blizzard's fault because in so many cases they didn't just upgrade the faces, they replaced them with something that looked completely different. A bad call. So it's not surprising that for the second round of upgrades they were like "ah just let them change whatever whenever to make them less annoyed at us".Quote:

I want this so much!! It would be awesome if we could change eye color, face and voice in the aesthetician. They could leave fantasia for gender, race and clan change, and it would still sell well.
Yoshi-p said in an interview, when asked about the WoW customization changes, that the aesthetician in ffxiv can change stuff like hair and EYE color because it was easy... I don't know which game he is playing, because our aesthetician can't do that. Unless they are working on it and he let it slip.
Also, Hrothgars would need to change face to change their hairstyle, for that race I think this is a basic thing that should be allowed, specially if they add new hair/face for hrothgar like they promised. Imagine them adding a new face for hrothgar without giving this option or a free fantasia. He would basically be forcing hrothgar players to pay for a fantasia. This problem wouldn't exist if they added new hair for viera. -

They should. Wow sells character changes and still implemented the barbershop changes. Those changes are so much better then what ff14 has since they let you even change genders on the fly. ff14's starting to show cracks when it comes to QoL changes.
