It's something I've learned about recently and not something I see a lot of paladins doing and just a further way of optimizing your damage rotation, I'm sure plenty of you have already figured it out, but it's not something that ever crossed my mind in the past. It's a minor DPS increase, but if you're looking to push your damage higher it's a good habit to practice. Essentially what it is, is fitting four atonements and two goring blades in a single FoF cooldown.
With tighter gameplay and this new rotation I've definitely noticed an increase in my dps, so I figured I'd signal boost this a little just to help spread the word for my fellow paladins that weren't aware.

I haven't raided for a while so i can't speak for that content but wouldn't this opener lose out on many boss fights? esp with the short time you have to do the last attonement? It does on a lot of dungeon bosses at least.

It doesn't matter if Requiscat is physical or not, it's there as the transition between the physical and magical phase of the rotation.

Is indeed a really tigh window, you can view it as this:
We have the standar loop and the optimized loop, you always have to start with the standar loop, once done that you can choose the next loop to be one of both, if we can keep full uptime during fof then we do the optimized, if not, we do the standard. Is like changing marches.
It requires knowledge of the fight so is more of a optimizing mini game for when you have experience on it.
Btw rq was phisical dmg during sb so you used it inside fof but as of shb is not affected by it. -
03-16-2020, 09:32 AMUltimatecaliburYou can fit 10 gcds into FoF's 25s window with a no sks 2.5 gcd (it is enough to cover 2 Goring Blades with RA + Atx3 between). This rotation is more for when you have enough sks that you can start cramming 11 gcds into the FoF window. The main reason that the 4th Atonement is delayed until after Goring Blade is that ping, gcd and server ticks might cause the final Goring Blade to not get covered by FoF if you do GB->AT->RA combo ->ATx3-> GB combo rotation.Quote:
