From what I gather Warrior out tanks Paladin due to raw DD. The Paladin is supposed to get buffed soon. However, for longer help to the Warrior I think Berserk should lower Enmity with each swing. Since we are pretty much gonna use Rampage while tanking anyways.

I can understand what he's trying to convey, in that, yes berserk ups damage which = more enm+, but! if i were berserkin i'd love to have an enm- added to it. Do I think it's a good idea? No! I can understand why someone would want it. That would set rampage for tanking and berserk for DD. As it stands now berserk is an unused ability by me, and i'm sure by many others.

Thats like saying I want my emnity lowered every time i cast cure lol.. but if its because pld is broken then its all good i guess? Infact lets just add negative emnity to everything that PLD doesnt use, then we wont have to adjust PLD :)

You want to have hate. You want monsters to be attacking you, as a War. Because if you don't have hate, monsters are attacking other classes/job , who shouldn't have hate, who can't deal with it like you can. You are God and you take care of the nasties.
So when would you use Berserk? When you're late to the fight, when you had a clumsy healer, with a brainfart, who let you die, when you need to regain hate on the monsters. And when you do get hate again, you go back to Rampage and reign down terror on your enemies, because you are God. -

Find me areas where you aren't getting hit on warrior, either by adds, aoe, or environmental stuff (like in CC). I never see a reason to stress my whm curing my extra damage when 'zerk is being constantly reset anyway. A cost for no benefit = I never see a reason to use it unless you hate your whm. Coming from a WAR point of veiw, I use berserk often, because my linkshells have paladins, so I don't see a need for tanking, so I use berserk. I understand how the OP feels, and to comment on most of the content of this post, I belive that people should think WAR as a DD as well as a Tank, because it can do both. I agree that berserk should have a Enmity - to it, but not so much as to go overboard. Also, why would you not use berserk as a DD, it increases your weapon skill damage, and godsbane uses it, causing more damage, and last I checked, DDs are supposed to do damage.
