As we all know Eorzea is filled with the cuter races. They are the prevailing choice among most players. Miqo'te, Midlander's, Au Ra, Lalafell.
SE, you endeavor to add a wider variety. You wanted a beast race and that is Hrothgar. I understand the player base would like to have male and female variants of Viera and Hrothgar respectively; but first, let me have eyebrows on my Highlander.
I want to play a big and tall Highlander because I don't prefer the cutsey races (nothing against them, I'm just different). But in your endeavor to satisfy the cutsey race lovers with Viera and more Miqo'te options you have neglected the other portion of your player base; however small. All I am asking for is some eyebrows. I have to use the painted on eyebrows and they are a bandaid, not a fix. With certain hairstyles they are blatantly obvious.
Of course, you can argue it's in the lore, you can say that's what you wanted. But SE you didn't want your Highlander NPC to go without eyebrows and likely for good reason. The NPC Conrad Kemp, a highlander, he gets to have eyebrows.

So, I am not asking for you to add another race, I just want one eyebrow option. Leave the other three eyebrows options for "lore purposes" if you must - which would be the no eyebrow option. But I want to be a big Highlander with an axe and I want my eyebrows just like Conrad has. Thanks and I hope you appreciate my feedback.

Most face options do have a toggle for thicker eyebrows. It wouldn’t be too hard to just have that as one of the options in the same part of the character creator that lets you add on a beard or scars.
Also it really should be something like that so it doesn’t force players to buy a Fantasia to get eyebrows. Just see the aesthetician. -

While most races do have thickER eyebrow options, the Rava is the only noticeable one along with Female Sun cats and Male Moon Cats.

I agree. It's silly. Give the OPTION for no eyebrows sure, but don't apply it to every male highlander. Their lore explanation says it's because they do it to to be more imposing. link below. But a few issues with this.
A. It says their men AND women fight but strangely, it's only the males who have the no eyebrow thing going on. If this is a highlander thing, give both genders the option to have or not have eyebrows.
B. It lists other things they do to look more imposing like pulling teeth or scarring themselves. So shaving eyebrows isn't even the only thing they do.
C. It just feels like a weird tradition to force onto EVERY male highlander character. Especially with the WOL having unspecified origins for players to imagine.

The lore specially states why the men don't have eyebrows. It's a cultural thing to intimidate their opponents. I don't understand why people can't just accept the lore these days.

It's possible, however, that he may be using a midlander character model despite being a highlander. Realistically there's probably some mixing of Midlander/Highlander anyway. And if surname is the only proof, you could potentially have just one Highlander great-grandfather several generations back and still end up with that surname. -
