Sorry this has probably been answered somewhere.
Pre-ordered on steam (ShadowBringers)
And wanted to link it to the Mog station, says code invalid.
So, I'm assuming if you bought all from SE, you need to stay with SE and if you bought from Steam...

Did you put in the correct code? You should have received 2. One for pre-order (which you put in now) and one for the game (which you put in at launch).
edit: This goes with the caveat of if you bought it from a normal retailer, you must continue to do that... if you bought it from steam, you must continue to do that. You can't mix and match. -
