It's hilarious - i can just imagine Koji and Soken and a couple other staff members stuffed in the booth just going ham on being bad. lol

I second this. I can see myself putting it up during All Saint's Wake in our FC house for another "spooky" sounding song, make the place as dark and halloweenish as you can, add that song and bam!

Alternative song title: Starlight, Starfright. This would be hilarious, and I'm on board for them to do an Orchestrion Roll for it. Only downside is that it'd probably just go to the Mog Shop, though.

I wound up doing way better when I just turned the music off. Slow choir music is not exactly the best choice of track for a rhythm game. Thankfully the UI is right on point. If you click when the big diamond reaches the inner diamond, you're always going to get a Critical.

I did wonder about that after saying it's appropriate that the bass is not that skilled... I don't know enough about choir singing to recognise how "good" the singers are, but have they gone to the effort of making it sound like a professional tenor and a few nice-sounding amateurs?

(Then again, the Homunculi seem to run mostly on appealing to their fangirls, and also may be more of a 'pop group' or whatever passes for it in fantasy medieval Europe, so Augustiniel might not have that much of an advantage for singing choral music to begin with...)


And yes, the critical hits definitely seem to be a tiny bit later than I feel like they should be.

The balance is off. Alto is hard to hear, soprano is steamrolling everyone else, bass is shy, tenor is really reaching for those notes...ahh, reminds me of high school choir again.

Amateur for sure but it deeeeefinitely varies on the 'good' part.

And yes! I found it perfectly acceptable considering the story. Unfortunately I don't like listening to it because of my admittedly-distant music education which nevertheless informs my standards in music XD

I have access to my fiance's and FC's music players. I don't see this being a bad thing at all.

These should be "secret" items that appear on the vendor after going through the song and scoring zero.
