Odin or Garuda.
Well Titan, Garuda and Leviathan and Odin are confirmed through concept work with some interviews also confirming Shiva and Ramuh as the other of the 6 elemental primals.
I'm fairly happy with those, they got the basic/core ones. There should be a Bahamut somewhere (I don't think that is the Mor Dhona dragon). And I wouln't mind some non-agressive primals like Carbuncle or Siren that would give abilities or accessories instead of weapons
Hades or Fenrir.
Anima from FFX.
Gilgamesh.
...I want to fight like a man dressed like a woman!

^ Bahamut of course
Odin (play /ˈoʊdɨn/; from Old Norse Óðinn) is a major god in Norse mythology and the ruler of Asgard.
My assumption is that he will be found somewhere in Ishgard, considering the similarity of the names (ruler of Asgard).
They've already confirmed Odin as a wandering primal to be added post version 2.0. From what they said he'll get stronger every time he's beaten and likewise the quality of treasure he drops will go up the harder he becomes.
He's on page 5 of the pdf on this page. titled "New FINAL FANTASY XIV Planned Content & Concept Art."
There are only 4 pages...
Page 4: New Content: Below are the main content additions planned for after version 2.0. New content announcements will be
made via patch notes.
Primal Battles: New primal battles.
Primal Summoning System: Summoning system that awards the ability to summon primals to Free Companies that defeat them.
Dragon Battles of Ishgard: Campaign of battles against the dragon horde in the defense of Ishgard, with participation possible as any of the four Disciplines.
PvP Coliseum: Two forms of PvP, the Coliseum and the Frontlines, to be released sequentially.
PvP Frontlines/Crystal Tower: Large-scale instanced raids of the Crystal Tower and a vast labyrinth. Further expansions planned for future patches.
Wandering Odin: Wandering Odin primal, who grows in strength and drops greater treasures with each defeat.
Labyrinth: ???
Further details on all of the above to be released in the days leading up to version 2.0 release.
Sorry, I had the pdf directly linked, so I relinked it. It's on their outline of things to come. I have no idea where he'll wander at, but it sounds fun as hell.
You may also want to check this link out. If you scroll down they talk about how odin's lore in game a tad.
Odin was always one of my favorites. The only thing they keep messing up on is Odin's horse. Sleipnir is supposed to have 8 legs not 4. Final fantasy 7 is the only one I remember giving it more than 4 but they only gave him 6. Eh, sorry I'm a mythology nerd.
To be honest, I think Final Fantasy had more of an impact on my interest in Mythology, Religion, and Ancient Civilizations than all of my schooling put together, considering 90% of their character names are drawn from these. I even engraved the name Odin into a 4' tall walking stick I made as part of the Boy Scouts of America when I was 12 years old, thanks to Final Fantasy.
Edit:Would be interesting if SE adds something along the lines of "Naruto Cursed Seal" that transforms any character into this demi-human (i'm thinking about Papalymo and crew whom all have a Tatoo visible in the cutscenes that mark them as different from the rest).Quote:

Knights of the Round
Knights of the Round summon is the pinnacle of summons. 13 gigantic knights going berserk on the toughest of bosses. The other reason is because it reminds gamers of Final Fantasy VII, where this summon was last seen. It’s about time we bring the Knights into this generation.
Knights of the Round (Ultimate End)
This could be an elder primal, or the primal boss that guards the crystal tower or what not. I just think it would be so epic to have them back. Please Yoshi-P, don't let Knights of the Round be forgotten, bring it back to life.
Odin
Odin
Odin
Odin
and uh... Odin.

Oh, and..
Eden > Knights of the Round - by a long shot.
http://images2.fanpop.com/image/quiz...84_400_300.jpg
Its the most OTT summon in any FF game. (unfortunately, the damage falls a bit short of the insane attack it does)
However, what would REALLY be awesome, is replacing Knights of the Round with redesigned 'Ark Angels' as multi-attack summon.

/sigh, too much to wish for I think...
Bahamut is the primal I look forward to most.
Fat Chocobo please
Tonberry King...nuff said.
Gath's 1 gil is worth more than your 1 gil.
Oops all berries!

The King approaches.
Summonable: Knights of the Round. I agree with others that it needs to make a return. The last time was VII, we are now at 'double' so a return might be apt.
Actually since we have had 13 major Final Fantasy releases before FFXIV, it might be fitting to replace the 13 knights with the 13 lead protagonsists in each FF so far (with Shantoto for FFXI) - call it 'Knights of the Fantasy' and a corresponding enemy with the 13 lead antagonists in each FF
Non-summonable enemies: Weapon, Giant Cactuar (I think cactuars are adorable!)
I'd like to see valefor as a really basic summon again, for actually summoner and not for the large scale pve summon. I'm thinking you unlock summon they give us a healing carbuncle for fan service, and then valefor that can use all elements but really weak status. Plus I'm from Valefor server in XI. My favorite summon is Shiva and then Garuda, but I have a feeling we'll see both of them for the main primal fights anyway ^^
KUJATA!
MOOOOO!!
In all fairness, SE hasn't brought back any of the final (ultimate) summons in the main series since FFVI *unless Crusader (JP= ジハード 'Jihad') = KotR, which I don't necessarily agree with.
FFVI = Crusader
FFVII = Knights of the Round
FFVIII = Eden
FFIX = Ark
FFX = Magus Sisters (*not originally a summon in FFIV)
FFXI = N/A -- we can't say what the final summon is yet
FFXII = Zodiark (*from FFT, but not main)
FFXIII = No real ultimate summon since all chars got their own.
I'd prefer to leave KotR as FFVII's legendary final summon. The ultimate summons are part of what gives each game their character.
I would have to say Leviathan and Carbuncle.
I think Carbuncle is cute, and Levianthan is just amazing. If they do implement the summons, I'm really excited on how they will appear and such.
I want to hug him and squeeze him until I bleed!!! (and he explodes)

While not a traditional summon, Atma from FFVI would make a fantastic summon...
Quote:
Left here since birth... Forgotten in the river of
time... I've had an eternity to... ponder the meaning of things...
And now I have an answer...
My name is Atma...... I am pure energy... and as
ancient as the cosmos. Feeble creatures, GO!
Atma = Ultima Weapon.."Atma" was just the shortened (read:bastardized) US version of it.
I'm sure we will see it in this game as a boss since it has been part of the series since FFVI
I wouldn't mind seeing an original summon but I would also like to see the return of Carbuncle, Bismark (Spelling; Its the whale from VI and XIII.), and Valefor.
I liked Diabolos abilities in FF8 and FF Type-0.
Gimme Carby, and I'm happy. :D
I'd also like to meet Gilgamesh or maybe FFVI Terra in her Esper form as a trial or something like this.
Or a hunt.
