Guess where the photo is

Heya.

I haven't seen a thread like this here before (at least not recently) and I thought we'd play a game. I'll post a picture and clues, and you'll have to guess where I took the picture. Since this picture looks like it could be taken anywhere, I will provide many hints so it's not unfair. It's kinda easy but fun and that's what's important in this game.

Hints: The sky changes color a lot in this area. I'm in a house, and you get weapons from a lady by exchanging tomes. Her name starts with the letter that a green haired girl's name from FFIV starts with.

If you win I'll pat you on your head. Oh and it's the winner's turn to post the next picture quiz.

You're in Mor Dhona, the side hallway in the house of splendors near the stairs where you exchange items from the Anima weapon Vendor.

I get to post next right? Soooo hints....? Uhhhh I think the picture itself holds a pretty big hint to the location. Kudos to whoever figures it out.

I feel like you're in Coerthas Central Highlands in that corridor that starts towards Whitebrim Front (near the FATE "The Eyes Have It"), there's a boss FATE in there with Biast and it exits near the Gigas enemies over by the observatory leading into Mor Dhona. If this is correct, I won't able to post a picture until around 8 PM EST (when I get out of work).

Is this that one cave in the Dravanian Hinterlands, where there's a cascade in front of the sealed Alexander?

ohhh noice Topic Game! Haven't seen those for ages.

Anyway uhhh my guess would be the Ruby Sea where you go inside those underwater caves where those naked Snails Mobs are?

EDIT: Nevermind. It is harder to guess without having the Game open :D

It's right in the cave (like ... it's small) in the Waterfall near Alexander, you can only access it by flying.

Usually if you stand at the Camp where Mide (NPC of the Alexander Story) resided for that Part, the Cave is located in the East in the Dravanian Hinterlands.

But this is the only other place that comes to mind. The cave with the waterfall facing Alexander that's above Matoya's cave. That would make since too with "the scholars word" with Sharlayan scholars in that area and Alexander being the "monstrosity". That's a nice spot, relaxing spot.

I wouldn't have called that easy at all honestly! I knew it was in Dravania Hinterlands and particularly the area near Idyllshire based on the foggy trees from the get-go....but, I had no idea it would be inside the actual town hub itself. So, bravo on that.

I was able to find the exact location [X: 7.8 Y: 3.4]. Idyllshire, behind Stickqix's Bangpots and near that little observation pavilion.

Here is my entry after guessing Miste's! I really liked the darker version (looks more mysterious and dramatic in my opinion), but...I went ahead and also made an enhanced and brighter version of the same image in case some people have a hard time seeing it on their different display settings for their own monitors.
