Should logout in kugane near the aetherite around 8-9pm and then spam log-in around 2:40am-ish and go for like a middle to last ward?

2:40am is pointless, as the servers absolutely 100% will not be coming up until 3am PDT and the launcher will need to be restarted post-maint in order for you to be able to click Play.
Edit: Of course, it will be available to download an hour or two before the servers come up, you just won't be able to launch the game until after 3 so spamming login is pointless. -

Trying to log in earlier does help since you can download the patch before servers open up for play.
Good luck! I'm going to instead be trying for a relocated home in Lavender Beds or the Goblet. -

Edit: I kind of misread the post I was responding to - it is definitely worth it to download the patch prior to 3:00 a.m., but they seem pretty stalwart with regard to the servers not coming up early. -

its probably best as soon as you get in to start fromthe bottom and go up on the list of wards to check availability of plots. as for logging in click as fast as you can soon as the servers re-open cause there will be delays and a server que. godspeed everyone may lady luck be on your side this day

If you dont care about the plot or anything and just want something, shoot for a ward in the 3-10 range, go straight to the subdivision rather then the front part of the ward, and youll have the best odds. Of course, this depends on your server. The last housing expansion was sold out in minutes on some servers, and still had openings a week later on others. Good luck(unless youre on my server and want my lot)!

Logging out in kugane is pretty silly since it's going to be the most populated zone.

I mean I would be crushed immediately, but that doesn't mean that it wouldn't be funny in a unpleasant way to me... :p
The small houses probably are going to be the easier ones if you aren't especially picky and the login queue gods smile upon you. It's kind of a question if you want to risk using the mini aetheryte to go to the other subdivision if your desired plot is taken. I'd probably recommend you grab whatever one you have the first opportunity to do so. -

I was fairly certain everyone was getting kicked out so I just plopped next to the Kugane skipper and have prepped my sacrifices to dark gods.
