Small things they'll probably not fix in Stormblood again (but should)

1. Stat attributes. Right now it's main stat or nothing which make it a pointless 'choice' and only liability for SMN/SCH who share them from the same pool. Was not fixed in HW.
2. Resistances tab in character menu. A lot of useless information there. All status resistances are always 0. All physical resistances are always 100. Why it has it's own tab when more useful currencies tab was moved elsewhere? Was not fixed in HW.
3. Beast tribe tokens will still take inventory space instead of being a currency like in any other MMO. Was not fixed in HW despite everyone struggling with inventory space.
4. No cooldowns reset when entering an instance. Sometimes I switch to a healer outside of city when que pops and then have to wait 20 seconds before casting Protect with major cooldowns taking minutes to recharge. Was not fixed in HW, but at least they've added reset upon party wipe.
5. When switching to a crafter it starts with max CP but gatherers start with only 400 GP (when 600-650 needed for current rotations) or even worse, with 0 GP when switching after death. Was not fixed in HW.
6. I have all error messages turned off but it still shows errors in red text in center of my screen. Was not fixed in HW.
7. Chocobo porters will be as useless as always. They should make them free and much faster and give some temporary buff for anyone except lv10 characters to use them.
8. Emergency skills like Benediction and Hallowed Ground still having a lag. Other skills have it too, if you use Fester right after Bio it'll not register for example. Was not fixed in HW.
9. Even with cutscenes disabled black screen with supposed skipped intro before the boss still interrupts whatever you are doing. Was not fixed in HW.
10. Able to use FC and LS chat in a dungeon but can't use tells or friend list. Was not fixed in HW.

Seeing as all this migrated into HW it's highly likely we'll see these small issues in Stormblood again.

5 wouldn't work because you shouldn't have max GP gathering of every node.
6/7 I am neutral about.
8 is still an issue in WoW as well which says to me the issue is a lot more difficult to pinpoint and/or fix than we might think.
9 I agree with.
10 I would make a toggle for what channels you can see inside an instance. I personally don't want to see tells, but if other people want to, so be it.

edit: To add my own, I would really like to have initiating a fight auto-dismount me.

Actually Yoshida said they are probably going to remove bonus stats because most new players don't distribute them.

They probably can't do anything about starting at 0 GP after dying. But at least they could increase the hidden GP stat on the combat and crafter jobs. Currently the cap is only 400 GP. If it was set to something like 99999 GP, you could generate up a bunch of GP while not on a gathering class, and then when you switch to a gatherer, it will fall down to the max your gear allows. This can not be used to regain GP because the game keeps track of your GP no matter what job you switch to. If are miner and get down to 50 GP and switch to dark knight, you still only have 50 GP and regenerates from starting from 50 GP. Switching jobs doesn't boost your GP up.

I honestly doubt this will ever get fixed at any point. Sadly the roegadyn is a neglected race, and will therefor never recieve the same love from the devs. Im sure if it was lalafell or miqo'te that had this problem, it would get fixed asap.

No, it doesn't. Your GP is saved when you log out.

I don't know if anyone has posted this or not yet, but I would love for us to have a way to automatically pull makes out of inventories / retainer inventories when we're crafting. It takes a lot of time to get up and go to the retainers, pluck out what we need, and do it again a second later for the next recipe.

I wish i could mark targets for myself or party, and if im casting flare on target 1 while target 1 dies, i wouldn't get an error message when target 1 disappears and instead auto transfer the attack over to target 2. Im sick of casting just for it to get wasted. Idk why. Maybe its just me but as a black mage i find myself hesitant to attack at all if i see a monster that might die before i hit it. I just let the rest of the party do it and stand there for a second. That or i spam scathe.

Most mounts outside chocobos lack of proper sounds for every material surface they can walk on, also, looks like only chocobos leave their trail at snow. Minors details but very noticeable.

Retainers interface need an upgrade, features like open all retainers inventories at once would be nice.

It is not broken. Just meld some element materias in it. What need to change is the importance of those materias.

That work as intended and is not broken. A DoL without gear can have 400 GP. So it is normal that the character can only recover to 400 GP max on another disciple with no GP gear equipped.

Increase minimum GP to 600 and players will still complain that the GP after switching fom DoW to DoL is only 600 instead of 800.
Just meld GP materias in your DoW gear

Why is there even a resistances tab at all anyway? ARR was designed from the outset to not make use of such things for balancing reasons, it's utterly mind-boggling why this menu was ever even included! To say nothing of similar resistance-based crafted items; potions, etc..

Removing it and playing currencies back into the character menu would be a blessing. And saving on some inventory space by putting Beast Tribe tokens there too.

I would LOVE to be able to just switch to a different retainer while still IN the retainer menu. It's kind of annoying that you have to actually close out of the menu completely just to switch to a different one.

I would love if you could go to the gathering book from the crafting book.

It was a legacy from before XIV was reborn. Devs talked about it and said they opted for a more easier system when the tabs were already coded. Don't remember reasons they didn't removed them at all, 'tho.

Looks like your CPU needs an upgrade as well. Almost 6 years old.

Back on topic. I'd like to see the game progress in graphics and such and not stay stagnant. It's why they did away with PS3 support. Also your card is going on 7 years old ( released Nov 2010 ). It's time for an upgrade.

They could fix this by making Bio apply immediately instead of after animation. The reason it screws up is because you can use Fester immediately since it is an oGCD and if you do it immediately right after casting Bio it is still going through the animation and not applied on the mob yet so it isn't counted. Same thing happens with Bane.

That's why they should increase the base GP on combat and crafter jobs to be more than what the gathers can gear/meld for. Even just increasing it to 1000 would probably be good enough for a couple of expansion. Its only 400 GP right now , but there's no reasons for it to be that low on the combat and crafter jobs.

But as someone who had a crap system for a long time until recently I can sympathize. But still gaming companies should not hold themselves back because of the smaller percent of gamers that have out of date systems.

OP makes good points, also one thing and there should be no excuse as to why it has not been changed is stackable maps. I do not run maps right away and loose some because it's already in the inventory is rather annoying, plus normally my retainers are full.
