Garo MGP Vendor?

It said in the Dev Blog we'd be able to purchase the Garo gear for MGP, despite it being an undyeable version. I can't seem to find the vendor for it. Has it not been put in yet? Or is it being put in at 3.55?

Been wondering this as well. The PVP dyeable sets have all been implemented, so not too sure. All I see is a list of achievements related to the GARO equipment in the patch notes, nothing else. Maybe the Event isn't entirely active yet.

There's no other NPC there. The only one that's there is for Wolf Marks.

From 3 different pvp achivment. By exemple u get on by doing 10 win in front with a title gave by a person with a black dress. Check lodestone database.

Isn't MGP the Gold Saucer money? Have y'all checked the Gold Saucer? Haven't logged on myself to check.

Yes, I've been all over Gold Saucer and have yet to find anyone that looks similar to the NPC in Wolve's Den.

..Why would we check PotD for Garo stuff? It's only PvP and MGP related with the three mounts coming from PvP Achievements.

Got a source for that MGP dev remark? Because I've never seen anything to indicate the Garo gear is anything but PVP-exclusive.

I don't have source to give, but I believe I've read that the MGP non-dyable stuff will arrive after.

Because the NPC is probably a rare one with a 1% chance of spawn in PotD of course :D

Couldn't find the vendor either, hoping that the invisible shield will be available that way also!

They boosted the amount of wolf marks rewarded in pvp in this patch. Join the fray. It doesn't take that long to get a set and fast queues makes happy players.

Noo, don't be like that. Join the madne.. Fun. The shield costs 2k. It's literally doing the daily roulette + 1 extra game. It's 2 - 3 games.

While I do have interest in joining PvP and doing this for the mount Achievements. There is a reason I won't be doing it until the MGP vendor can be found or it is added. I don't really care if the armor is dyeable or not, however if I can get the armor first without spending wolf marks (which i'd like to use to purchase other things.) and then jump straight into the content with a title to earn points towards the mounts, that's A-Ok with me.

Looking at the patch notes there is no undyeable version so the only way to get them is by pvp.

There will be an undyeable version as it was stated in the dev blog there would be. Although it would seem it hasn't been added yet.

Even that is more than I'd want to do.

I was a little disappointed since I'm sitting on a lot of MGP and expecting to buy the gold saucer ones pretty soon. Guess I'll keep hoarding my MGP.

It's not that bad actually, I do hate PvP too but I was surprised to see people.....actually playing and leading and teaming during the 2 games I did oO

8v8 feast can be less than 5 mins to play a match.

Im sitting on 2.7 million mgp and that is after buying the chair mount.

I'm starting to think the vendor won't be until 3.55 so that the people that PVP can get it first.

Do we have an idea on how long? It is not like you just do a small questline for it. You need to farm lots of stuff and people might want to get more than one set.

"Longer than the Yokai event".

Where is it stated that the collaboration will be temporary? I haven't seen anything about being able to get the Garo gear being temporary.

That's the closest I've been able to find; none of the Live Letter links or translations that I found mentioned it being time-limited. Obviously Yoshi-P's statement there would still be true if it wasn't time-limited, and it's also possible that they've changed their plans since Fanfest.

It's worth noting:

• the achievements were added to the Items section, not the Seasonal Events section (where the Yokai achievements, and all other time-limited event achievements, reside)
• we knew the end date for the Yokai event before it even started, but have been giving no such date for this
• the Dev Blog doesn't make any mention of it being time-limited
