...what type of problem are you having?
Also I didn't realize they had money to pay for GMs in the first place.
Character stuck? Return.
Quest bugged? Bug report forum.
Player said a bad word? Jump through hoops to another website to report it.
Not one of those three problems?
Only dumb part for GM is I reported RMT through support > GM and they even have category for RMT so thats what I did and amazingly GM responded in 5 minutes but was a nice message saying please report through website... could of been nice and say "NEXT TIME" please report from the website, but this time we will forward the information.
and had to happen when I happened to play with full screen mode so have to write the RMT's name, and all that good info then logout, then go into support website and report...
Wouldn't be surprised if people got lazy to do the 2nd step after seeing GM's response lol.
^ agree they have to sort this external website stuff out before 2.0 and have a proper in game form/chat system in place.
Well I'm sure you're not the only one calling GMs.
They're probably busy with other things.
What was your problem anyway?
Report the GMs to the GMs for ignoring you :)
I don't understand why don't they have Money to pay for GM? if there a GM coming to ul'dah random to talk to players for over 30min every day -.- My gf is stuck on a LW sense release due to them not fixing it.
And GM only going to say is restart char this is her 3rd reroll sense release now that we have a lot of 50 and work put in it i don't think she want to reroll for a maybe it may work.
Zenaku, I'm not sure what "LW" is referring to. I thought Leather-worker for a minute, but is she unable to change classes?
In any case the GM system doesn't seem a whole lot different from WoW, which can't be debated about having money. I once had to wait 48 hours for a GM response in WoW. Also, their response to a character being stuck is to use their version of "return" as well. I don't think any of this justifies the experiences any of you may have had with SE. However, I think it is evidence that support of this nature does not receive a large portion of the budget allotment in MMOs.
There a quest for LW that she can't turn in lol we reroll to selbina because we dislike our old server then we reroll again because we want to be elvaan again but each time the same quest is stuck she can't turn in the body -.- you know i thought SE would have fix that by now.
I think the mention of SE not having GMs was a joke because they use the same GMs as they have in FFXI, if thier GM job description is anything to go by
Btw that was for an English/German GM thats open on the EU site.Quote:

Mainly why im posting this... If they have time to have them reporters wasteing time on stuff that wont even matter in 3+ months, when they could be out dealing with issues players have. As for all the questions about what i called about just say its about stuff they have outlined in their help desk.
Sorry to nerco a old post but

Is something that i was tryign to get across this stuff woudl happen and no GMs will talk to ppl
You are incorrect. I have played many an MMO and the only ones I've played that had useless GMs was FFXI and FFXIV. hell in Age of Conan (a FREE to play game, how can they afford GMs?) when I had a problem with a quest not giving me the item it was supposed to I sent in a GM call, about an hour later (yah the wait time is almost always an hour in all games ive played) a GM sends me a message asking me what happened. I explained that I did the quest and turned it in but did not get my reward. He asked what the reward was supposed to be and what the quest was called, I provided the information and 10 mins later he said to me "check your inventory", and BAM there it was. I said thank you and went on with my day.
THAT IS HOW A GM IS SUPPOSED TO ACT!
"We will investigate this matter further." = SE fails at life.
My personal experience is incorrect? Awesome! :)
I'm glad you got such good CS with AoC. At least they got one thing right.
GMs addressing bugs in games of this genre is something that's expected, even if it takes a while; GMs reversing user errors, however, is not something that happens very often, I imagine purely because of expense.
Keep buggin' em is all I can say. Until they have a game with proper mechanics to allow players to alleviate their own mistakes (ie: Buyback Function), they're going to keep getting these calls, and rightfully so. "Buyback" is one of those "should just be there" aspects to modern day MMOs.
It's unfortunate because all of my experience with GMs in every MMO I've ever played has always been good, I assume I might be a lucky one but I've never had issues with items being mis-lotted, lost, etc. in other MMOs.
Hope it works out for ya though, that's one sexy crown to lose. Still need to level my mages for mine. Swore up and down for the whole year + three months of this game I'd never level a mage. What does SE do? Go and make a BiS headpiece so I have to level mages... /frown.
