We asked for a harder 24 man raid and we got it. And it was challenging and DAMN FUN. On behalf of those not griping about things being slightly too difficult, thank you Yoshi-P and team for a wonderful experience.

Agreed, much more fun ☺️
Absolutely the best one we've had to date. Memorable encounters, punishing mechanics, and 24 clears after learning from our mistakes and kicking a healer. Was a great time.
yeah, the difficulty is just perfect
hope they don't nerf this.
and the future 24 man raid to be this good
It's quite a bit more challenging than the other 24-mans so far. Love it! Please keep it as it is ;)
I think Ozma needs a slight nerf. I dislike being at the mercy of other bad groups.
You could form your own. Give it some time, the raid is brand new. And lets be honest here, they can nerf it but that is not going to change anything because when it comes down to it. its about following mechanics and some (not all) will never follow mechanics. Look at bone dragon and Behemoth, ppl STILL wipe to that lol. Just not as much.
24 man is much harder to form than 8 man, so I disagree with your counterargument, even if I want ozma to stay exactly as is. My reasoning is that every encounter has a standard strategy that is generally formed and enforced within about a week. The reason that the fight is chaos right now is because so many people are new to it, and it will get gradually easier to beat as time goes on.
Generally you could somewhat pick up the slack of other groups if they were new or just weren't good at the fight, but Ozma makes sure each party is resposible for itself. Other parties can't help your party and vice versa, and that makes it much harder. Thats my only reasoning. People will get better, but its day 2, and I've run quite a few runs trying to get a gear peice and, hell even a clear for that matter, and I feel like it is literally impossible at the moment, due to incompetence or trolls.
I have to give credit to Yoshi P and his team for creating one of the best 24 man raids. like everyone has stated its has just the right amount of difficulty and can be punishing due to the mechanics. Once a week goes by everyone will have it down and it will be somewhat easier. The mechanics are key for a good clear. when I tank in lost city of Amdapor I still have people in my group who refuses to look away when the first boss uses Neuro squama. I hope for future 24 man raids to continue with the level of difficulty weeping city has shown.
As it should be when content with 3 parties in an alliance exists, not a roflstomp fest, healer LB3 is so useful in these fights with their low dos checks, trigger happy melee just need to stop using it ;/ i thought people falling off was too much at first for it, BUT then I realised they respond at the void circle which re appears on the platforms, you can suicide a lot of mechanics such as the adds to avoid them, as a healer I find this content really easy as there is just high damage no raid insta-wipes unless it's a dps check. So long as I live, I can still yet recover the fight so long as I know the mechanics.
That said a bad group will be a bad group, that doesn't bother me, all of the bad players will likely avoid it soon and just do hunts for 240 gear.
I haven't even been able to enter Weeping City because people haven't been queueing for it at all. The queue times are ridiculously long... is it because people are having too much trouble with it? :( I really wanna see this raid, I was super excited for it.
Lovely Final Fantasy IX battle theme remix that sounds organic fitting the theme of the dungeon
Lovely scenery all around the dungeon, reminds me of Oolacite Township from Dark Souls (still corridor but what can yah do?)
Great Midcore difficulty with some of the bosses and how they're designed is great too! Even if they are based of previous series bosses
Step up from Void Ark in every way possible
Can't wait to go in next week.
Weeping City is amazing, with great alliances and mechanics explained we could almost one shot any boss now. Just got out of one myself 3 wipes total 1 to second boss and 2 to Ozma. The best part was we almost 1 shot Ozma. As for LB3 this raid teaches people to use their LB wisely.
I realy like Weeping City and its not realy hard. Only the People make it hard when they ignore Mechanics.
This is probably what makes Ozma a raid-breaker. If a party wipes completely, it's very hard to recover from that, because the corpses are all out of range, so for a healer to bring them back, they have to leave their current party, and end up at the mercy of whatever mechanic Ozma throws at them.
And then there are those times where lack of communication messes up a mechanic. Like today me and another DPS were marked with meteors, and we couldn't get away from each other. I would go to the end of the platform while he went to the end, and then when I turned around to go to the ring, he turned too... ended up dropping both meteors halfway between, and the raid ate a debuff because of it. I feel bad about that.
It will get better with time. A week after a major patch it's always a bloodbath. Even this week there has been a marked improvement in the duty finder. It's definitely the most beautiful raid they've released with some of the most hilarious boss moves yet.
Curtain Call used to be my favorite, but now every move the last boss in Mhach does is my favorite.
