Now I know people do the world a service by making bathrooms in their houses, but seriously, where are all the bathrooms!? I wanna walk around Eorzea and overhear awkward conversation text when I pass by a bathroom, ala FF7 and just about every game with a sense of humor.
I constantly look inside houses and wonder where these people go to the bathroom at and take showers. It's horrible!

Basically, this trope is in effect here.
Besides, Eorzea is an early-Industrial Era/post-Medieval setting - few people if any are going to have indoor plumbing. What amounts for a toilet would be little more than a chamberpot under their bed, and bathing would be 'dunk yourself in the nearest pond or river'.
The game even states this with the FATE 'Downwind' where it's mentioned how the inhabitants of Little Ala Mhigo have to dig latrines outside of town just to prevent the stench... lingering in town... which inevitably attracts wildlife.

There is also a Quest in Southern Thanalan where you have to scare away peeping toms watching female miquotes bathe outside of town. So there are no bathing or washing rooms.
