I've only noticed this issue lately, perhaps the last 3 months or so, but a lot of people in Frontlines outright refuse a raise. They believe they'll simply fall over dead again as they'll come up sub-par. I generally focus newly raised players to keep them alive, but they still have this fear and would rather just decline it and return back to base.
When I've explained how Divine Breath works, most people who previously refused my raise apologize, lol. But then my ability is down and I've got nothing to show for it. D:
I doubt we'd see a change to not put it on cooldown if they refuse the raise, but one can hope! Realistically, I'm just hoping for some sort of notice, a prompt that looks different from a standard raise/resurrection, indicating that it's not going to supply them weakness.
Been thinking about this lately, but it's happened to me three times tonight and now I've gotta complain! Checked for another topic on it and couldn't find anything fitting to hijack.

I agree with this. Another thing that's bothered me is that I use Divine Breath, and the person still gets up weakened. Shouldn't be able to waste it only to have the person get up weakened anyway. -

And yes, I've tried to give Divine Breath to people who have regular raise waiting, and it doesn't override the buff. Sad stuff, but a good suggestion for change! -

The res animation and sound for Divine Breath and Raise/Res/Ascend are all different.

Just disable PvE Raise in PvP outright, like they did for Summoner. Then everyone knows 100% that they're only ever getting the good Raise. Alternatively just have PvE Raise work differently in PvP; No Weakness, that's my biggest issue with it...

Either way though, that was an afterthought, I'm more incline to just remove it from PvP outright, though I'm not sure healers need more things to complain about losing... -

I would not mind losing it. It's very rare that I might even consider using it. And it's just troublesome to have another healer use raise when I (or another) have Divine Breath ready.

I don't mind losing it. It's annoying when I click on a raise prompt in the heat of battle and end up with weakness because I didn't realise I was getting the standard version. I'm sure I annoyed plenty of people back when I started and didn't realise how things worked in my first few matches, too.

Raise is significantly less useful in modes like frontline (and most likely now Feast ) where you can respawn as opposed to Wolves Den where you cant. They don't need to disable raise in pvp since it's still useful in wolves den but at least change the icon so you can differentiate between raise and divine breath. The difference in animation is easy to miss with all the chaos going on and the difference in sound is useless to me as I usually have the game muted in favor of listening to music/netflix/teamspeak/whatever. Sick of dealing with healers who get defensive when you tell them not to use Raise in frontlines or getting bitched at (though rightfully so I suppose) if I end up declining divine breath because I decline all raises.

I really don't have a problem with either or, but, when i'm the only one on a alliance taking damage with two healers within the same alliance that are directly in LoS, yet all I get is a regen right before death..(True story in multiple cases) I will, without saying a thing, decline the raise. I also know others who do this. It's our way of saying we don't want your rez, we want your heals.

PvE rez is also useful in frontlines if your healer is down and you need him back asap. weakness or nah.

Yeah I'd take a raise with weakness or not, because I generally have a quick way of recovering MP, and if Aetherflow is ready, my own HP as well.
Then I'm back into the fray healing and such.
So it's not like PvE raises are without uses, but if people will be outright denying them (which happened to me again today!) we need some way to drive it home that this is a raise-type you want that isn't me frantically trying to type something in the midst of battle. -

You could always macro a party message to it so at least your own raises are specified. I agree though, it would be nice if it had a different accept prompt or something.
