Mog station sells seasonal stuff for people who missed the events, but there's no titles. For example, the Cupid title from Valentione's Day 2015. I did the quests and got the title for my main character, but I didn't get around to doing the quests on my alt, who I actually want the title for. I can buy Valentione's Day stuff on Mog Station, but what I really want is the title.

I don't mean to sound entitled (I'm not because I also don't have the title) but I really do not want this. Gear, fine, mounts, go ahead, minions, knock yourself out. But titles are literally tags that suggest "I've beaten this" or "I attended this event," and by putting them on the mogstation kinda undermines the point of having seasonal achievements in the first place. Maybe request that they give the title every year, but I'm sure I'm not alone in saying that titles don't take any effort to produce, and having them in the cash shop is kinda insulting.

They could be obtainable via the new events, most of the time we get special currency to buy stuff from the event seller, make the title "buyable" from them, it may encourage players to spend more time doing the event stuff :)

Against it for the same reasons as Lambdafish. IMHO titles should be a "Yes, I did it!" kind of thing. I could rant on how unsynced stuff is ruining even that but maybe I shouldn't :)
How about making some of the more special titles account wide instead? -

However, to me they shouldn't be on the Mogstation. The title is like a badge saying "I was here then, I completed ____."
Sometimes I see people with titles I don't recognize and learn they were from 1.0 when I look them up. Sure it sucks that I can't get them but it must bring back memories for the people that were there. Would be pretty meaningless if everyone could grab it off the cashshop.
As an aside it's been awhile since we've gotten an event title. I guess SE wants to avoid this situation? -

You can buy any trophy that has a blank plaque and have your name engraved on it. Doesn't mean you earned that trophy whatsoever. That is what would be going on if these titles were buyable.
It would be silly to have titles given through the Mogstation and a slap to the face for those who worked to get them. Making the titles you actually earned account-wide would be a better solution. -

I'm not personally a big fan of making titles account wide. I guess it depends how you look at it, but to me our characters/alt characters are completely separate. Just because I did something on one makes no sense as to why the other suddenly unlocked it.
I have 2 alts that I also do all the events on and sure it takes me 15-60 minutes for each every time something comes out, but that doesn't feel like a huge amount on time in a game designed that we don't even need alt accounts. -

Simple solution for that is to add the same title every year for that one seasonal event. That way if someone wants the title it's only a matter of time instead of feeling "left out" or out of luck just because you were taking a break, or didn't knew about the game before, or whatever.

The titles are one of the few unique things you get for participation at the time.
Don't try to remove their exclusivity! Titles are often worn to show off a sense of accomplishments. When u see a Wanderers Shadow I know they took the time to explore Eorzea before the calamity. If I see a half-baked hero, I know they really enjoyed that particular Easter event.
If you could straight up buy titles, then the titles themselves lose all meaning. -

I am OK with items but not with the title. Like I have been playing a long time. I earned those titles. Just like how 1.0 characters have their tattoo which I will never get because I wasn't there. Why should people get titles for events they didn't attend?

No, because for 1 simple reason.
Titles from Mogstation will have no value or any meaning. If you want a title, then it's better to include them in the item sets/bundles or something. (still zero value for that title, unless it's sounds funny or something) -

No thanks, titles are tied to achievements so they are actually earned.
Back when ARR released, they did discuss achievement points being used for rewards at some point. IDK if that is still planned.
As far as seasonal titles, just tie them to every corresponding annual event as already suggested. -
