Right now I'm rank 16 so I can't equip the high rank Ilevel180 pvp gear so I was wondering, is it better to use the Ilevel110 pvp gear or use the Ilevel180 PvE gear? :confused:

Pve gear has pretty much h been the best to use, there are only a few pvp pieces that are useful.
The i110 is useless due to the i150 cap.
For dps all you are really looking for is secondary stats, det + crit. Acc is a wasted stat due to the low acc requirement in pvp, bearing in mind you still need a little
There's only a couple of decent i180 pvp pieces I.e for mnk pvp head + stre ring
The bis depending on job will consist of a mix of law i180 pvp gear alex drops crafted and esto gear. -

Am I incorrect in thinking that wearing i180 PvP gear essentially removes the i150 sync for you? Since you are synced to i150, and the 30 morale raises the i180 pieces up 30 ilevels, is this the best option? The tooltips are confusing in that I still don't know how this works or if PvP materia works in PvP zones or not.

The Morale bonus first brings the gear's item level up, THEN that gear is brought down to the cap.
So, no. Morale does not increase the item level above the current 150 - or any - item level cap. -

I wish they'd at least let us put in some of the PVP materia available from the materia vendor that must be really bored all these months. Ok so they don't want us to pentameld the PVP gear with 5 Crit IV or SS whatever materia and have that work in FL, fine, but is allowing the stun/sleep/bind/heavy resist materia to work in PVP gear in FL too much to ask, for those of us who have spend the time and effort working to get to where we can buy the i180 gear. Otherwise some of it is pointless compared to stuff we can get easily in Alexander normal. And there isn't a ton of uniqueness like with the i110 gear, I have the rank 47 caster hat which is suspiciously similar to the Alexander BRD/MCH hat, and similarly the healing one is very similar to the NIN Alexander hat. The caster arms are much like the BLM Esoteric ones as well. I ended up glamouring my Crimson Vest over my casting shirt to go with the the rank 47 PVP caster ones and doubt I'll change it back even once I unlock the caster robe, I'll probably skip it. I've unlocked the ability to use that gear after much work, but for a lot of it I don't yet have a reason I'd want to use it.

I see only that, full i180 PvP geared ppl in on the new map have the same LP (and MP) like me, they have an lower dmg and killrate.
and I see that, I have more life in wolfs den if i switch from pve 110 to pvp 110 item.
SE did it so, becaucs newcomer will be hard weak without there rank for pvp gear. -

- PvP gear is usually better itemized for damage or extended healing. All left side i180 PvP pieces do not have Parry or Accuracy. All of Tank and DpS pieces have some combination of Crit, Det and Skill Speed/Spell Speed. All left side Healer pieces have Piety and either Crit, Det, or Spell Speed.
- In PvP areas the i180 PvP gear is enhanced to be roughly equivalent to i210. This done by giving each of the piece's stats a bonus equal to the difference between the slot's i180 stat caps and the slot's i210 stat caps. The Helm/Hand/Feet bonuses are +16 Det/+27 Piety/+16 Crit/Speed. These bonuses can actually make some pieces better than Eso/Alex Savage gear in PvP areas. The Helm of the Rising Dragon for example ends up at 46 Crit/56 Det in a PvP area in comparison to the i210 Tantra Tantour which is 41 Crit/56 Det.
- In ilevel synced content, the stats you gain from each piece of synced gear is capped. In i150 content the Helm/Hands/Feet caps are 30 Det/26 Piety/32 Everything else. The Gordian Armguards of Scouting will ilevel sync down from 41 Crit/56 Det to 32 Crit/30 Det.
