You all ask for transparency, the team gives it to you in spades revealing excruciating detail about all the lil changes...there's nothing even left to explore and figure out on your own. Might as well be a strategy guide the detail people want.
Then you all complain about it and you haven't even played it. So you got some choices to make...gee you can't have absolutely everything. Woe is me...I can't have his gear blah blah blah.
Good lord he's going to get an item before me...the world is going to end...no I must have everything before x, y, and z person. Like serious? Get off your high horse already.
It's a GAME!!!! and an adventure. Some peoples will find things more simple then others. Some classes benefit in certain areas vs other classes...and your adventures will yield different results and stories to share.
I mean seriously consider playing a solo RPG if you gonna whine about having to make some choices that will affect your overall experience in an open world MMO.

- How much is the drop rate difference between GC?

I could go on with the multitudinous of questions in regards to this patch.
Given the gravity of the patch, a lot of players are left with questions that have been unanswered for quite some time. I understand that the dev's are busy and are working very hard, but for you to mock other players for asking fair questions is retarded. The forums are here for insight after all. -

I think if you going to play this game more casual on a solo basis your adventuring and your game is going to be a little different then someone who is going to playing it a lot. And to be honest I have spent a fair amount of my play time soloing...I don't play every day. Sometimes I just come on to chat with my LS. I haven't had problems finding a group to do stuff with if I asked around. Leveling has been a joke for the most part...If I make a complaint it's gonna be that it's too easy to level up. Gear hasn't been an issue. Those that are super hard core get in their groups and get their goods then they help out their LS and friends get stuff. It's an MMO experiences vary for everyone.
Gear drops gee...I have more and better gear then some hardcore players. My servers kinda dead these days too. So if you gonna say casual players don't get what they want or are at a disadvantage I'll have to somewhat disagree. There is a reality also that this is an MMO and solo players do have to join forces with others to accomplish certain things.
Can't we have any mystery in this game to figure out some things for ourselves? For instance sharing all the recipes like they did because people complain otherwise just ruined it for a huge segment of crafters that want a little mystery in their craft and feel a sense of achievement. -

I do agree though I hope once the game gets rolling they slow down on the reveal of the goodies (that's for the .dat miners to figure out!) I feel now though SE has to do this to appease our appetite since the content is a slow roll because they are fixing the game. -

I agree that leveling is too easy. I casually leveled my way to 50 in a few weeks multiple times with little to no sense of accomplishment.
I would like the game to be harder, but not penalising because i chose to go with a less popular GC. -

What really annoys me is people going up in arms about a certain change without accounting for the fact that it may be due to five or six other changes rather than something on its own.
eg: Casters get over 2000HP and, like, OMG THAT'S UNHEARD OF ...but the entire trait points system and battle algorithm has been changed so the impact of this is yet to be experienced.
If you read the patch notes and don't like something, please don't rage straight away. Rather, observe, test once live, attain an evaluation based on actual experience and then share that experience in a calm and collected manner. Then people might take you more seriously.
Consider the patch notes as an opportunity to take a look at what you'll want to try out once the patch launches. -

When decisions are coming that are permanent, pros and cons need to be presented.
Sure they could end up small (and that is what I and most people are hoping) but just as equally they could be large.

Did anyone stop to realize that the grand company greater rewards doesn't apply to gear drops? I think it will be applied to seals or our rank standing within the company itself. Kinda like how we get a hp buff for simply being in a light/full party. Doesn't make that much of an impact. So relax and choose the GC that you really want to be a part of. Otherwise you will just end up a bitter player. Especially if you turn out to be wrong about your speculation. Ask yourself what is most important? Do I want to be forced to join the GC that I didn't want to be in based on what was speculation on a fan forum? Or... Choose the GC that speaks to my playstyle and eventually there will be enough players that will be logging in and joining the same one that you do and love. The devs said don't choose based on gear so it might be wise to trust them on that issue. Enjoy the patch everyone I for one have never seen this many positive posts about a patch and feel the tangible excitement for the game since before launch. Keep it going guys and great job devs!!
