Gold And Silver Chocobo Feathers; Clarification, When?

So July is just a few hours away for some of us. For others it's already July.
My question is in regards to the Recruit a Friend Campaign with the additional of Gold and Silver chocobo feathers. When exactly are we going to get these sent out?

Some people have reported getting them already while others say it's not possible yet. Personally I was told beginning of/early July is when we'd get them.

Can we get some clarification? If those who have gotten them already, did you get Gold or Silver?

I got 10 silver feathers a week ago from the welcome back campaign

It states quite clearly in red letters that none of the rewards for Recruit a Friend will be coming until "after July". Now whether that means after it has become July, or after July is over, is up for debate. Safe bet is to assume you won't be getting anything until August.

EDIT: No one has gotten any Recruit a Friend rewards yet, so they are lying or are mistaken on where they got the rewards.

I heard the gold feathers will come out with the 3.01 patch next week. Dunno if the information is accurate or not.

The new in-game rewards for the Recruit a Friend Campaign are scheduled to be sent via the Moogle Delivery Service on Thursday, July 30, 2015. We'll make a follow-up on the specific distribution schedule on the Lodestone.

so why say july at all, why not say "golden feathers will be delivered at august" instead of just "after july" thats rather vague after july 4th after julys maintenance, it opens it up to questions, where as if you said "in august" there would be no question as to when.

It's never a good idea, in a game with this many functions and features, to state an exact day at first announcement. Things go wrong. If anything, they're delivering early because it's still July.

30th July means End of July...

except with this they are essentially waiting til the last moment to give out these items, items in which the silver feathers have been given out to various users along with the bro-fist emote, showing these are in surculation, as well as all mounts and items are in the game already, so there is no need for a patch, there is very little reason for t to be delayed til july 30th (which by the way i may as well say august guessing on how other things will be it will most likely be 1st of august for half of the world)

if they stated in august there wouldn't be this much confusion over the golden feathers.

No, they have to pay for 1 month to get the 5 Golden Chocobo Feathers (so, buy the game, play through the free month, then purchase a month after that).

TBH that's complete BS as people would be demanding to know "when in August." As vague as it is, "after July" pretty much covers any time from July 1st onward.

so where does it say they HAVE to pay for a month to get the 5 gold feathers?
all I see is the rewards separated into two categories: based on # of friends recruited vs amount your friends subbed.
and there are gold feathers in both categories

That's not true.. It clearly says that each recruited account gets 5 gold feathers. Then AFTER a sub of 150 days you get 5 feathers again 30 days is the circlet 90 days the chocobo then 150 5 feathers 210 5 feathers and 270 5 feathers.

Yes you will get 5 gold feathers upon raffing someone thena gain 5 at 150 and so on. each recruited friend gives 5 feathers and 5 silver feathers for the recruited acc

Start spreading your codes today people, and don't forget to sugarcoat it with "I'll help you in game" "give gil", blah blah.

Coincidentally 30th of July happens to be the International Day of Friendship.

i have 2 recruites 1 of them being from back in 2.0 so i will be getting about 25 golden feathers

each additional recruit gives you 5 more golden feathers and you also get feathers from the amount of days your recruit has subscribed

You get 5 each. It doesn't add up like that.
5 Feathers for recruiting.
5 for 210 days

10 total.

I'm pretty sure it says you get 5 Gold Chocobo Feathers for recruiting a friend, 5 for 150 days subscribed by recruited friend, and 5 more for 210 days subscribed. That sounds like 5+5+5 to me...

lol no. He's right. It's 5 for recruiting, 5 more for your friend subscribing 150 days, and another 5 for your friend subscribing 210 days. He should have 15.

You're wrong. Having invited someone who has been subscribed for 210 days grants you a total of 15 feathers (5 from the invite, 5 from the 150 days milestone, and another 5 from the 210 days milestone). He's missing the 5 feathers from the actual invite because that mail in particular seems bugged and it's not being sent automatically.

Click on your mailbox and then click on the "Reward Delivery Request" button at the top right of the mail window. You'll receive your missing mail with another 5 feathers and the fistbump emote.

Clicking the reward button every few seconds, waiting and waiting. :x

It may be the case that your friend is including his 30 days free trial within the 210, and as the 30 days free trial doesn't count, you'll only get 5 for recruiting and 5 for 150 days.

They forgot to mention that there is also one for 150 days.

5 for recruiting.
5 for 150 days.
5 for 210 days.

Their total SHOULD be 15. The 5 they are missing is for recruiting.
