Ever since the new dev team got in charge of the game, you did a really good job on resolving a lot of issues, adding content and making this game appealing to a wider range of players.
However, ever since these forums went live, “problems with the way the servers work” has been a popular excuse to many critical issues and popular valid requests.
Examples of these issues linked to server problems (feel free to correct me or add some to the list):-Linkshell management
-UI lag
-“/sea all” type commands
-LFG flags
-Market Wards (full wards, functionality)
-Mail/Delivery system
-Macros lag, overwrite and functionality
-Enemy interaction lag (visual signs of enemies starting skills and their position while moving are always few seconds behind their real progress). Same could be said for our own lag, hurting overall fluidity and response in battles. It can’t be instant, but I don’t believe it can’t be improved.
-Oddities like repairs taking 2 bazaar spots since item and reward transactions can’t be processed at same time
As far as I know, we never had any update on resolving these infamous server issues. We only know that you’ve been “looking into it” for months.
Can we have some information, details, progress, timeline, anything? Do you have people actively working on that? Do you have solutions to these issues, even if they require months? Is it unsolvable? Did you drop the ball because it would require too much manpower to change the game foundation?
This game has some nice features and keeps improving every patch. The other incoming changes and updates are also promising, but as long as these server issues plague it, its potential to become a healthy long living MMORPG once it stops being free to play might be greatly reduced.

Most, if not all of these have been addressed. I don't have time to look them all up for you.
The long and short of it is, they are going to work on them, but not until after 1.20. -

I remember the last thread that was made about this asking for something from the dev. team/Yoshida, might not have been ignored, but we definitely didn't receive a response on it :( Probably cause it was directly or indirectly touched on a year ago.

I support this thread. I would love some details on when/what we can expect in terms of server-related changes/updates or lack thereof. It will help a lot of us/those who would like to see retainer sales slot changes, number of trading blocks increased, delivery box, etc etc understand how far away or likely it is for us to see those changes.

This is literally the only community in an MMO I've seen that wants updates on behind the scene stuff. They already stated they're working on it.
None of you will be happy with a response like: "We're still working on it" or "It's being worked on", because then you'll beg for a date when it will be finished and get pissed and spam the forums asking why they can't give a date. It happens with pretty much everything else.
They gave the update they're working on not only the servers but the engine -- They even stated when they have info to share they will, clearly they have no info to share about this yet because I'm pretty sure they know players care more for game content and for the most part, we do. Hell even Web hosts that have server issues can never give an exact time frame on when it will be resolved and it could be sooner or later than expected -- Giving a time frame is bad because as proven with Patches, if they miss it you people go into a frenzy. -

While officially having labeled all these issues as "server-issues", I've been greatly concerned by this due to its vagueness as to when or even IF they'll be addressed. It simply is not clear.
