So guys, I wanted to ask how you guys handle leechers in the Duty finder. We had this one bard in T4, equipped with full spiritbond gear, joining repeatedly. The gear isn't the problem though, but he keeps afking and runs around by autofollowing someone. And if he attacks, he is using autoattacks only. Since you cannot kick someone immediately after Duty commences, what can you do about those people?

I think you can report these for harassment and disruptive gameplay, since they certainly not helping and annoying other people.

Nah, he wasn't a bot since he wrote some stuff like:
"U can kick me before the chest I'm not here for that x)"
"It's funny to see how u cry for nothing"
"It's funny how u're a baby"
And to top the entire thing off, he wore the "Final Witness" title, that made me chuckle. -

I encountered similar problems while farming lights, some folks just decided to afk instead of contributing to the fight. Simple problem, simple solution.
You can either do the run with them AFK, or not. You can report/kick them when able. But you have 2 choice, no amount of forum feedback can alter this.
You seem reluctant to report them based on the outcome..honestly; no one knows bar GM. There's no notification: X was banned based on your feedback! You do something presuming it'll make a difference. All you have is blind hope. 'But I keep running into people like this!' People are douche bags. That's it. -

Most you can do is just file an ingame report, complete with the offender's name, when it occurred (include time zones) and the gist of what happened.
As for kicking them...well you can't do much about that... -

step 1: Do a Search Info check on the player in game. THEN match that info with the info on their lodestone page.Quote:

Most of them having a lot of jobs they can be displayed with a different job. Not talking about those wearing helmets, using Fantasia or being the usual female miqotes...
And for SE GMs not being bots , each time i sent a ticket i got a standard answer. I requested to talk to a GM by chat once and he was odd (he made a confusion between my name and the name of the guy i reported at least twice) -

You can't enter with less than 8 people, if you were able to do that you probably wouldn't meet those people in the first place as you don't need 8 in turn 4 these days. Because of you don't need 8 people you can just roll through it while AFK.
Just let the dreadnaught kill the AFK person, that way the gear won't spiritbond. -

Had an issue like this in CT - Alliance A was full of bots. The rest of the raid had to step up - help dps A's vassago, man the towers, stand on their pad, etc... It was brutal. Vote kick a whole Alliance? Yes, please!

Similar crap happens now r/t the triple triad card drops. I ran Mog HM for 3 nights to be able to get the King Mog card, except a MNK in one party, and later a NIN stayed by the beginning standing area and never left, moved or anything. I didn't notice until about halfway through the battle. Just wanted a free TT card ride.
This is kinda what we get when SE encourages the mindless grind that we need to be able to get things done in game. Nerfed chars in T4 bored out of their minds cuz they don't want to pay MB prices for materia and other people who have run these hm/ex primals until their brains bleed for low pony and card drop rates. They want stuff but don't want to work for it anymore. -
