Leechers in Duty Finder

So guys, I wanted to ask how you guys handle leechers in the Duty finder. We had this one bard in T4, equipped with full spiritbond gear, joining repeatedly. The gear isn't the problem though, but he keeps afking and runs around by autofollowing someone. And if he attacks, he is using autoattacks only. Since you cannot kick someone immediately after Duty commences, what can you do about those people?

I think you can report these for harassment and disruptive gameplay, since they certainly not helping and annoying other people.

Nah, he wasn't a bot since he wrote some stuff like:

"U can kick me before the chest I'm not here for that x)"

"It's funny to see how u cry for nothing"

"It's funny how u're a baby"

And to top the entire thing off, he wore the "Final Witness" title, that made me chuckle.

Well that's definitely something you can report for player harassment. It still stands to reason whether or not the GMs do anything though since when you file a report on someone in DF, you don't know details such as what server they are on and what not >_>

Report them for botting/harassment, or kick them - or both!

Honestly: What did you expect from this thread? It's a bit obvious as to what you should do. I'm willing to accept you may not have thought about reporting them, but...

If you could please read my entire posting. You cannot kick anyone right away after duty started, you know? I encountered similar problems while farming lights, some folks just decided to afk instead of contributing to the fight. And I wondered if reporting them would do any good, if not it would be just a waste of time.

To be honest, I really...Dislike lazy bastards like those. They go, do the less possible, and use the rest for their SB... Just because "they are randoms anyway, won't bother my arse for them!"

When I DF, ALWAYS, ALWAYS! Play my 120%!... It's my own pride and honor...Even if I'd be SBing, difference would not be noticed... So that's why I hate those...

It's not the first time I suffer an annoying bard in Lazy-made gryphonskin gear for SBing materias IV because III are worthless and cheaper than II in his server...They delay queue a lot....For replying your question.. I don't know, I'd perhaps, if in a bad mood and tired of him already, also refuse to do anything during the dungeon, especially going as healer or tank, so he'd be forced to move and do something.

You can either do the run with them AFK, or not. You can report/kick them when able. But you have 2 choice, no amount of forum feedback can alter this.

You seem reluctant to report them based on the outcome..honestly; no one knows bar GM. There's no notification: X was banned based on your feedback! You do something presuming it'll make a difference. All you have is blind hope. 'But I keep running into people like this!' People are douche bags. That's it.

Most you can do is just file an ingame report, complete with the offender's name, when it occurred (include time zones) and the gist of what happened.

As for kicking them...well you can't do much about that...
