I talk to him with all 12 atma and the zenith I want upgraded... But he tells me to get more atma... Is this bugged or am I not doing something right?

If I remember correctly you need to have a different weapon equipped when you speak to him.

Um first you done the check list, take off the Zenith you wish to upgrade, check all atma in inventory i know you probably all ready know this or have done it and i to thought i did it until i checked again.

I've checked 3 different website lists. I have the atma in my inv. I have my yoshimitsu zenith in my inv... All he does is ask how my search for atma is going...

You need to select the correct option in the menu to advance. -

Are you perhaps working on Animus books for other classes? I know it's not supposed to interfere but just checking. Also note that just "unequipping" your zenith won't help because it goes into your Armory Chest, not your inventory. You have to manually move it into your inventory.

You will get back a sphere scroll that's already at 75/75 melds, copying whatever you melded it as before. You just remove and redo as you see fit. You will only need to expend alexandrite for whatever you're replacing (so if you're just moving 10 points into something else, you will only need 10 alexandrite)
Bring weapon and restatted sphere scroll back to Jalzahn again, voila, weapon will be restatted. -
