Ok, the customer rep said to try again in a few hours because the website is down, even though the website loads fine for me. I guess the code authentication part of the website isn't working yet. Has anyone else been able to successfully redeem their code yet?
Read the e-mail. Early Access codes won't be valid for a few months.

Are you even *able* to redeem them yet? It's common to get the "already used" error on things when you're just outside of the valid dates.

Nowhere in my email does it say the pre-order bonus code doesn't work until a certain date.
Where do you preorder? I just want reg edition. I looked on MOG station and didn't see anything.

Isn't that the thing you get emailed after you put in your bonus code? Because I am getting the your code has already been used message with the bonus code on the pre-order site. @SongJoohee
I followed the part in my email that said "Download and activation of your digital products / Click here to get access to your products"
This led me to a page in the NA Store with "HEAVENSWARD PRE-ORDER BONUS CODE" "Unlock Activation code" that sent me to https://preorder.na.finalfantasyxiv.com to put the codes in. There I put in the early access code, it told me that the code was valid and asked me on what platform I wanted early access. It asks you to confirm twice what it is. Then it gives you another code that you can't redeem until the email goes out.
"By redeeming this code, you will be able to download the game client for early access and receive the exclusive pre-order in-game items (Baron Circlet, Baron Earrings and Chocobo Chick Courier) via the Moogle Delivery service in-game mail system when official service begins."
I did the same but upon getting to the https://preorder.na.finalfantasyxiv.com/ page, it tells me that my code has already been used. So at this point I'm worried perhaps something is wrong, but I'm going to wait until the purchases calm down and retry.

Pre-order codes are redeemable right away from the Heavensward pre-order sites:
North American Heavensward Pre-order site
European Heavensward Pre-order site
Once there you can redeem your 18-digit code you received when pre-ordering (AAAAAA-123-AAAAAA-123) and select the platform you wish to receive an early access code for. (If you pre-ordered from the NA SE Online store, then your pre-order code can be found by visiting your Square Enix Online Store account page. Click “My Account” at the top of store page, then click “Your Orders”. Your 18-digit Pre-order code will be displayed along with a button labeled “Instructions” on how to redeem it.)
If you're receiving an error saying that your code has already been used, then please contact the Square Enix Support site for your region (NA/EU) and let them know of the issue, and the code that you received, so they can investigate it.
I'm having the same issue where I cant even validate my activation key code to get to the next step which is obtaining the pre-order bonus code. And no calling doesn't help, they're about as clueless as ever when it comes to support
Might be a wider issue, Matt. Just unlocked my code, tried on the site literally seconds later, and "Your code has already been used"

Same for me. I assume the code generating system is being stupid and duplicating codes lol.
I ordered two copies since I have another family member who plays. One code worked, one didn't.
No the Instructions give you the website link to redeem your code. Thank God we have 3 months for Square to get this resolved. <_<
Luckily mine worked, though I initially just assumed the first code was the one I needed. Who knew I needed to use one code to get another?
I haven't even received my email (30 mins later even) to get the code to go to the validation site. My bank has a pending charge for it. I've checked all email folders. I used a Yahoo email. I have not received any confirmation email yet.

Which customer service should I be contacting? The SE Store customer service or the FFXIV customer service?

Got the code, said it was used.
I remember a similar error back when 2.0 released and it wasn't quite time to redeem them. Are all the codes unlocked yet? Kinda annoyed >.< After all the annoyance of getting to buy this thing (after it was said it would be available at multiple sources for US customers) now this.
*sigh*
Yes please, a proper link to which support that can possibly help would be great. One of my codes work, the other doesn't.
Lol I just contacted both just in case. I am not as worried with this as I have 3 months to get registered for Early Access versus the mad rush to buy the physical CE.
Im getting the code alrdy been used too im using the store support link in my email.The email said if i had any problems to contact store support well this is a problem.But u watch will take forever to get a response then ill have to try the other support /sigh what a nightmare

If you receive a code from the Pre-order site and then try to register the code on the Mogstation it's not live yet. The code you get will not work until it's closer to release. It's in the email you received. Title of said email i'm referring to is: "FFXIV: Heavensward Pre-Order Code Redeemed"

So I have a CRAZY idea. How about... having a SquareEnix account... that is connected to all of our games... and everything we do and buy with SquareEnix? You could have it so that when we log in and buy a game, the game is added to the account, and we don't have to play with email, store pages, preorder websites, confirmation phone messages, store customer support, game customer support, etc. You could just log in, pay with credit card, and be done. Please, I'm not insane, don't put me in the jacket again, I don't want the padded cell, no, please help me.
But seriously, I have three devices in my lap, 5 web pages open, and zero results. I'm not the insane one here.
