PLZ HELP I am being bullied/harassed non stop by another player and GMs resolved it

I know I probably should not be posting here but I don't know what else to do. I have reported the player, my friends have reported the player and I continue to be harassed by him even though I have him BLISTED. Yes that's right I have him BLISTED and he still finds a way to harass me. GM's have talked to my friends and I know one of them said they would like to talk to me but never did. The issue still occurs regardless. This player also goes as far as stalking my facebook and making crude remarks about what I look like, and my personal life. I have blocked him on FB and BLISTED him, yet he still gets away with this. I am so tired and sick of it! Plz devs, GM's, sheesh even Yoshi! Plz help I don't want to go through this anymore and I refuse to leave my friends. :(

P.S. I meant to say GM's HAVEN'T resolved it oops

So I am in a Malboro FB Server Group that is how he got a hold of my FB. I never gave him anything just so ya'll know. Also, someone on my server saw this post and decided to talk to the guy that has been harassing me. So far so good he has not been bothering me. I am hoping he stays away as he now knows that so many people have reported him for harassment.

To those that something similar is happening to as well. Don't give up! Don't server hop. You are just letting them win. Stay strong and try to bring your server together to let them know this is happening. :]

FB is outside of the game so the GMs have no jurisdiction over it. Why did you give this player so much information about yourself btw? No one in game knows my FB.

Our server created a Malboro FB group. I know they can't do anything about Facebook but he has been harassing me non stop in game. I don't worry about him stalking me on FB anymore. It's just in game and it hasn't stopped even though he has been reported so many times.

Pro tip: Post the harasser's info somewhere public and allow the trolls to do their job. ;D

I don't have to do that when he shouts everything in Mor Dhona. I tried to even give the GM's some screen shots and they said they couldn't take them for the investigation because it could be tampered.

Second: If he already had your FB, banning his account won't really solve anything. And even after blocking him on FB won't help and he still has his way with you and it affect your personal life, time to contact your local authorities and bring the matter to them. Cyber bullying is a crime and if the culprit keep doing it, even after being requested to stop, is a criminal and should be treated like so.
Third: Transfer to Behemoth and my arms are openly welcomed you ;) (Girl only)

On a side notes: Your signature, I find them a bit rather dirty. Some people won't take you seriously because of the signature. I might be wrong.

Also, if that person happens to play on PS3/PS4 and you play on PS3/PS4 also, you can report him to Sony. Especially on PS4, you can actually upload video, take screenshots while you are playing, and send it to Sony. That might work also. But thats a shame, some people like to hide behind computer, but wouldn't harass you in person cause they are a puny weakling.

LOL That last part made me smile! I am a female and the bully player is a guy... that is not sexual attracted to women. He has also brought my boyfriend into the name calling stuff too. How would I report cyber bullying? I have never done that before? O.o Also I love my friends on Malboro too much to leave. They have been standing up for me and helping me through this and defending me. I couldn't poof on em I <3 em too much

I actually play on PC my bf plays on Ps3. Sadly my bf is a casual player and doesn't get on much. But I will let him know and my ps4 friends know that they can do that too. Thank you!

The best thing that anyone here can offer to you advice-wise is to keep the person Blisted and ignore them. Unless it's continuing physically in the real world, there is really nothing outside of mental/emotional abuse they can do, you're safe. If it IS physical as well irl, contact the local authorities.

In Australia, everything regarding to law and crimes, any police station will be able to help or direct us to correct department for help. I provided my advice, within my best knowledge.

On topic: Report him to your local policestation or FBI website or w/e you use in the USA and I can guarantee you that after he receives a police inquiry or summon or w/e he'll keep it shut for a while.

Some girls actually enjoy the attention and profit from having clueless guys being their pets they can summon at will, just because they got a V lol

Why does this matter? Same sex, opposite sex, or intersex doesn't matter, she's being cyber stalked/bullied. If it was a girl doing it, it still wouldn't matter. I am willing to give him ONE last chance to leave me alone! If he doesn't stop I will go to the police. I hate going to the police for anything but I don't want to cry anymore! I just want to play my favorite game with my friends. I do so much for my community too. I've been trying to help people and teach them t9. Then I get treated like this :[ It's not fair to me and other players when we get on the game to have fun and relax.

In my opinion, you shouldn't give him more chances and get serious. People like him think it's very cool and entertaining to harass people online because they feel safe behind their screens and they will not stop until it becomes a real life problem for them.

I work for the police sweetie... what you're describing is cyber stalking and harassment. Even if neither of you are 18, it's still cyber stalking and harassment. If he is 18 or up, he should know better, if he isn't, then his parents of guardians should be more responsible. If you've already exhausted the resources at your disposal (i.e. FFXIV devs, Facebook admins, etc.) report it, immediately, don't let yourself be walked on or become another statistic. Male or female, anyone should do the same.

Thing is we have (we as in a bunch of my friends in game) and they haven't done anything. I am pretty sure he is over 18. I myself am 26. ( Dun really care about throwing my age out there). I blocked him on facebook so unless I unblock him I can't view the posts. It's been basically to the point where we are talking about kicking him out of our server FB group and LS in the game.

Seems like some of players took my message a bit too serious. Of course being a guy and a girl does not affect,in any way,by any means, the seriousness and wrongly of stalking. However,to accurately judge the damage the matter is causing to one individual,won't you need to understand what,why causing such act, even if it means just for the laugh.

A guy stalking a girl in a MMoRPG is a common thing,note: in no way I am supporting such behaviour. And of course,sadly any girl player should has the mental ready or expect it is coming when the creep find out you are a girl irl. I am not saying it is the girl fault but better be prepared than get caught unexpectedly. Ifyou have a guy stalking a guy, that is kinda unusual but that is just another matter.

My best advice is to do a character rename and a vial of Fantasia to change your appearance.

I have already changed my char a lil over a week ago from kitty to lala (love being a lala btw so cute :3 ) And I love my name cuz I came up with it myself and is really unique. I don't think that would solve the issue for real :/

You are upset about the things he is saying but you haven't kicked him from your server FB group (assuming you can) or your in game LS (also assuming you can). Listen to this man.

If your "friends" know that he's harassing you and haven't done anything or don't even care, then it's time to find new friends. A true friend wouldn't stand for this rubbish and wouldn't even need to think much to come to the conclusion that such person isn't good for the group.

Next time you talk to a GM, tell them you want to speak to the lead GM because the matter isn't getting resolved. You can also report him for harassment on FB Bottom line is you shouldn't have to put up it and he needs to be reported.

and the person is reading this & laugh his ass off atm, I think. I don't use FB often but you cannot block a person on FB or report them on Fb or eventually ask the group leader to remove the person ?

The only reason I suggested the name change is because it would make it more difficult for this douche to find you. I'm also getting the feeling that a server change is out of the question.

So just a little update. I myself could not kick him from our server FB group but he started going off in the FB LS we have and they finally removed and blocked him from our Server FB group. Thank the gods! He also threatened to shoot one of my friends in the linkshell as well. It's getting ridiculous. I am not making this up either if this wasn't happening I wouldn't have posted this. I am not that kinda person >.< I won't leave my friends! If anything they are standing up for me. I would do the same for them if they were in this situation too. The group was going to have a poll as to whether to keep him in the group or kick him until he went off in game yet again. I am actually at work so I cannot see what is going on currently. Like I said it hasn't stopped and probably won't stop until a gm, dev or someone in game does something. Some of my friends are recording the things he is saying now and are going to report him to sony.

Not an officer, a dispatcher. I'm the one who answers the phone when you dial 911, my officers get to see the excitement. That's not really for me. But I have handled calls like this, and 9 times out of 10, it's when someone shows sympathy or leniency towards their offender, nothing gets done. If it's really an issue, then make it an issue. If you don't, then others may not take you seriously the next time it becomes a problem. Your friend needs to call the police immediately! This is no longer cyber stalking or harassment, this is a threat of violence. Your friend needs to be provided with any detailed information about this individual you or anyone else can provide, and report a threat of violence to his/her local police department. You should realize by now, in this day, that with just a name or address, a criminal investigator (like the ones in our department) can get every piece of detail about this individual and have a restraining order served on him from across the country. He could also be arrested too. Your friend could very well be in danger and neither of you should take this lightly.
