The Eternal Bond marriage system added in patch 2.45 is very special addition added to the game for some special people. Although the registration for this is a complete nightmare. People with high tier plan ceremonies get to go ahead of everyone & anyone who plan on using this. This is understandable to an extent, but not at the expense of constantly pushing back other people's plans. They have turned it into a race & a hassle just to get a spot. OH you don't want to wait two weeks - a month to get this over with an the quest of your screen?. Well be online at 12am on a Tues. Forget that we have work the next morning cause our virtual marriage is important. You wanted your friend's to be there for your special day? Well too bad cause all that's left to reserve is 12pm on a Wed. What happens to the spot after the no show's don't come? This whole registration system is more of a hassle for players and needs to be re-worked and looked once more.

Kind of a QoL, but they should have made the times in either PST or stated it was in your time. I was honestly confused and was about to set a reservation because I thought it was in PST instead of CST (my time zone).

There is bound to be plenty of people who are confused by the timezones. Thus resulting in lots of Cancelled ceremonies. What bothers me is no one states what happens to that spot when a couple simply doesn't show. Just another time slot thrown out or can someone quickly pick it up. The way they've done this really just feels like another attempt at Time locked content and incentive to buy their platinum plans.

Softcores don't have to be married right away. You can wait for a few weeks or months and you will definitely get the time/date that you want.

the most fucked up thing about it imo is if you mess up your booking (which i and tons of other people did) and try to reschedule, you have to wait an entire more week to make the new booking, which i guess wouldn't be too bad, but on top of this you can't reschedule until 4AM pst, a whole hour after general bookings open, regardless of what marriage plan you have. which is super not ok and i wish i had noticed it before i went ahead with the whole thing.
people who paid for this service but had to reschedule for any reason get completely denied a part of the service they paid for, which is really bad practice. -

I assumed all weddings were going to be individual instances, so it wouldn't matter what time you registered as long as it was in the frame. Silly me, now I have to wait a week. I only cared about the bond, not a huge fancy wedding. It was just an experience for my fiance and myself. It would've been nice to even be able to have private ceremonies with a few or no guests as some type of other optional. :(
What bothers me even more is I know a few people who are only getting married because of the stuff/benefits it got them. -

The service WAS provided, and you DID make use of it. They have no obligation to provide that service to you a second time; it's not in the contract. uhm, we didn't miss our scheduled timeslot, we had to change it because i made an error when i was scheduling it (thanks to SE for not making it entirely clear on how exactly bookings would work for that btw). and for some bizarre reason, instead of just being able to reschedule it right then and there, i have to wait another week, but also because i have to reschedule it i can't take advantage of platinum bookings anymore? where is the logic in this? it's not comparable to a flight because a flight on an airplane is a physical thing that has to run on a schedule and can be missed; this is a video game wedding in a virtual church that doesn't have any actual reason to need first come first serve reserved timeslots, but does anyways. i don't think we're really 'lucky' to be able to reschedule (a service that should be provided no matter what) when rescheduling entails losing out on a thing we paid actual money for.

Me and my partner successfully got the time we wanted if we couldnt get something that would work for us we simply would have waited till the following week, in a month this content will be done by the majority of people who care about it and you will have free rain of your particular time. If you are doing it for the reason of doing it with someone you care about and not just for the virtual goodies it gives then you should be more than willing to wait until you can plan it at the perfect time.

i'd really rather not you imply something like cuz the reason i'm upset is because i was really excited for the wedding and this scheduling mess is going to postpone it longer than it should have, despite it not actually needing to. it's a really frustrating situation to have to deal with and on top of it it feels like lost out on some of our money because of the rescheduling policy.

It does display your local time, we even tested it by changing the time on one of our computers, and the times on the NPC/invitations adjusted to match. The frustration for me was there was nothing to show that we had acquired the time slot we wanted. I just kept checking times and it would say someone else had taken it. I had left all sad, planning to wait till a later reservation time and looked in my inventory to see the blank invitation for the date and time I had originally wanted. I even went through the chat log, there was nothing that informed me I had gotten it lol. Maybe I missed something, but even my partner had nothing in his chat log for when he tried for that time also, just that someone else had gotten the reservation. Pretty confusing.

My partner and I were trying for 2 specific days apperentlky we got the first one and didnt realize it until after we tried everything and nothing we wanted was available.Quote:

I agree that the system needs reworking. As it is right now it might be next to impossible for my husband and I to find a time slot. He has an erratic schedule (sometimes morning, sometimes nights) and random days off that he doesn't know of very far in advance, and with the current system, everything gets booked before we'd even get the chance to find a day on which we could do it. :\
