Fix the disconnection inside frontline in EVERY battle! i'm really tired of this!

I just want to know WHY i only get disconnection inside frontline! i can confirm this is not my internet because i can play it 24/24 without any issue but if i enter in any frontline i AWAYS get disconnection without any lag. So, can SE do something about that? and i know that is not only me with this problem :mad: i'm really frustrated with frontline because of that:mad:

I've been having the same problem. Started 3 threads about this. Community response has been unsympathetic and no word from the devs. Good luck though :(

I started one yesterday and now created other >.< i know a lot of peoples with the same problem and the devs don't fix it... Thank you friend ^.^ good luck for you too lol if some1 more have this issue please post here

I saw a similar thread to this the other day and thought it was exaggeration, but it really isn't. Did Frontlines for the first time in awhile today and was disconnected four times in four matches. It's ridiculous.

This is most likely an issue on your end, or somewhere along the lines between You > Server > You.

There isn't anything Square Enix can do to adjust or fix a problematic connection hop between You > Server > You, that's something you can only really bring up and battle with your ISP.


Unless the vast majority of people are suffering from this issue, then it's not deemed as something that requires elevated concern to the point where Square Enix will go out of their way to fix it. Smaller isolated cases are seen as a personal problem. (AKA. 3 people living in a sea-side town in England who lag in instances, versus 200,000 UK customers lagging is going to have a differing response)

No lag. No problems with anything but Frontlines. In Frontlines, every single time, 1-4 disconnects. Not a coincidence. No other Internet issues. Other players on the same connection (not doing Frontlines) no issues. Seen lots of others get DC'ed out of Frontlines. Don't think this is isolated. We may not be crazy. You know, it's a possibility. Just saying.

I have the same problem. Got 90k 4 times in a Frontline once. Only happens in Frontlines, even though my connection is fine otherwise. Friend of mine has the same issue as well.

@Shioban I'd be inclined to agree with you if OP and others agreeing with her weren't having this problem only in one very specific area of the game. But since this seems to be localized to Frontlines, it seems a little more likely that it's a problem within Frontline's instance servers, or possibly with the infrastructure connected solely to those servers (I find the latter unlikely, though I admit I'm not an electrical engineer or anything like that).

It's possible it's SE side! Very much so.

But there's a high-chance it isn't also, personally on my connection without correct port-forwarding I disconnect from instance constantly. ONLY since the Beta started, during the Alpha it was flawless, but since the Beta without the correct ports forwarded it's a nightmare. So there's always a chance that instances are causing issues with a personal connection problem.

In that case it'd be better to send in a support tick, rather than posting in general discussion or it'll never get noticed or fixed unless it gets noticed on their end.

It always amazes me how people make a thread like this in the "general discussion" instead of the "bug report" thread and then on top of that they accuse the community reps of being "unresponsive" when really you should be doing the following:

• Submitting a report either to the In-Game Bugs thread, or the probably more appropriate Technical Support Thread.
  
• While in game, check the Help Desk. A GM may even be able to give you some immediate information. I don't recall the exact menu options, but I'm pretty sure there's a GM contact in there for game issues. The GM will point you in the right direction for help.
  
• Check the FAQ and / or submit a ticket to the Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Support Center Website.

If you do some of that I'm sure you'll find a quicker response than just sitting on the General Discussion board expecting an immediate answer.

I just recently started doing PvP. I noticed that sometimes, out of nowhere, I'll get a 90002 error and disconnect. No lag, no internet hiccups, just poof. I can log back in with no issue, but I feel like the disconnect shouldn't have happened in the first place.

I want prove that your que popped for Frontlines.

I've have waited twice-- for 48 minutes-- as an Immortal Flame to get into Frontlines.

This has been happening to me as well only in Frontlines; it's extremely annoying. We can log back in right away without the "your character is still logged in" message. If you watch the parties you can see the players that get randomly DC'd and there is usually a fair bit of chatter about it in Alliance chat.

This is the exactly problem i have here lol this random DC is extremely annoying and is only inside frontline... like 1-3 disconnections per fight. If some1 says it is my computer/internet just explain why me and others players can play without disconnection the entire day and after enter frontline,1-3 DC's per fight

I have a very important question about frontlines... Frontline use a diferent server?
