So, where exactly do they even mention no Morale in Frontlines?

Like really, where is it? I see no mention from SE about it, only people complaining about it? Did anyone on here actually try to look up things themselves and are just being gullible? Because I really can not for the life of me find any actual fact of Morale being of no effect in Frontlines.

Edit: What I mean is, the only people who confirmed it are both linking to each other without any actual sources.

huh now that i think about it (and look over the live letter Q&A translation here) i do not see anything about no morale. lol wow i guess i over reacted XD. good news

the most likely conclusion...which means all this fuss over frontlines is pointless and was just incorrect information flying everywhere

I recall the chat blowing up on youtube about no morale, but Im thinking it was just a troll starting a fire. I dont see in any translation a mention of no moral, also they DID mention iLvl sync but not that it was 80. People just making assumptions.

Edit: You can surf through the Japanese PvP threads and ctrl+f the phrase モラル (moraru, katakana for morale) then just translate the page if you can't read it. Not perfect by any means but you can get the gist of what they're saying. If I'm not mistaken フロントライン is also Frontlines. That may help you locate a few threads germane to this discussion.

Morale is a stupid stats ofc, but morale is the reward from to pvp match and your price.

Without morale, a pve player could do the same as a full pvp player so, why may we spent time playing pvp if you play pve and get the similar gear? skills? Now, we have got the same and just 4 points to get an upgrade.

It was in the Live Letter. You're asking for a source on something that was JP only- much like all the other announcements from Live Letters that aren't put in the official Q&A, they are obviously hard to source. It's not unusual at all though and it's a little weird that you folk as a group are jumping up over missed questions in the official Q&A since that is a thing that happens in literally every letter.

And nearly 4 expansions after "Resilience" was introduced, they were still unable to tune the stat to be fair and balanced.

There's a difference between rewarding gear better suited for PvP (Read as: Different stat weights) and rewarding gear that is -required- for PvP.

Wow is unbalanced because blizzard want that. The resillience and pvp have a problem because pvp and pve abilities are the same. If you change one of them, affect both playstyle.

Resilience was unbalanced because they balanced the game around PvE first, and then PvP. Some skills became too powerful with updates. Resilience originally did not reduce player damage taken, or damage over time. It reduced only the damage received by critical hits, and the chance to be critically hit. It had to be adjusted to reduce damage from damage over time effects at a later season.

Morale is fine, and needs to be a part of PvP. If it's such a big problem, the amount of Morale on gear could be reduced slightly.

French GM confirme no morale in frontline content !!! And maybe ilvl sync will up from 80 to 90.

That simply isn't true for every piece of gear, so stop pretending it is.

Take any body gear for tanks; what would you rather wear, the Coil/Mythology/Soldiery/CT sets with Parry/Accuracy that people likely already have, or the Heavy Wolfram body which has Skill Speed and Determination by default, and can be melded with Critical Hit Rate?
Dragoon can wear a Wolfram body with Skill Speed, Determination and Critical Hit Rate, or they can were the various other PvE gear which don't have all three.

only ONE gear has acc. now i know this may not apply to all of the pve ilvl 90 gear, but for casters, ilvl 90 pve gear is better pvp, even when its penta meld

3. And most important, so you could meld the 3rd offensive stat and maybe piety into that or some other silly crap like parry(ROFL to both) or again accuracy, how would that be an advantage vs the i90+ pvp gear pentamelded? Please elaborate.

Also since when do all pve dungeon/tome gear have the same stats(like parry and accuracy for tanks)? In case you didn't know there are tanks who are actually going for i100+ offensive sets as opposed to maximizing parry. But that's besides the point.

As of important note, what i said was what advantage does i90 crafted stuff have over pvp gear, which i typoed (wrote "of" instead "of" over, should be pretty easy to spot but oh well), not what advantage does i90 crafted pve gear has over i90 tome gear that's obvious -.-.

Oh and as a final note please tell me, how having maybe +30 or something on a secondary stat is better than having +300 morale AND the +30 on a secondary stat as well and how it is even close to being the same advantage.

They said "Hey we are making it so people can't do double the damage due to gear difference" and you are arguing that doesn't make sense because you can still hit for +100(as an example it's probably not even close to that) with crafted stuff.. such fair points, such logic.
Because hey, if they are removing my ridiculous advantage (temporarily at best probably), let's just throw a tantrum and say that all gear customization should be remove too..

Thanks for, once again, displaying that you've not read a single thing I've said when it comes to Morale.

If the difference in Morale is no different than the difference of a (removed) AP stats boost, why are you against such a Morale change but for AP?

As for i90 PvP Melds, there is an obvious advantage to melding a set of gear solely for a boost, and melding a set of gear to cover up for Morale and for a boost.

by implying ivl 90 gear (especially for tanks) is mostly acc for its secondary stats when it isnt.

2.nothing, but by that logic what is prevent people getting pvp gear? also nothing, but FL is supposed to be a setting where there is no "extra" advantage outside your pve and pvp abilities. so needing to getting crafted pve or pvp gear so you can get an extra stat shouldnt be necessary.

again my argument here on this forum : if FL is supposed to be a a place where everyone have to be synced, so we all are to be equal and what will win us the fight is solely our skills, then stuff like AP should be fully maxed out or restricted to baseline because it too provide advantage that new or lower players doesnt have. also btw, i'm not a "morale defender", i am though a "progression" defender. if gear is no longer the answer for that , then SE should replace it for something else. to keep the carrot and the stick going.morale was just today means for a carrot.

No one is talking about how one is harder to meld than the other because that depends on a lot of things one of them being market prices, and if you go by that then buying the i90 pve set could also be way more expensive and therefore unattainable by some.
I'm talking about pure stat differences, and there might be slight ridiculously insignificant differences in the worse stat for any role, not how one is cheaper or more expensive or more harder to meld than the other.

There is usually some ridiculously insignificant difference between some stats, like maybe for example +10-20 skill speed or a comparably useless stat(like skill speed) and if that' s what you guys are holding onto so much when you mean "advantage" i'm just going to leave it at that.

I was saying the freaking opposite, i was saying how having +30 on det/crit/etc(re-read please it says secondary not primary or are you going to say 25 of det = 25 str too?) has no comparison in any stretch to having THAT + 300 morale advantage(this one being highly more powerful), please refute this.

Also understand this already, NO ONE cares about your previous posts/ideas when what is being discussed is another thing entirely, no one is saying it would be more or less fair if your ideals of morale or whatever came to fruition, that is NOT the point...

in the case of a penta meld pve gear secondary stats(even of the worst possible stat, which again is nonsense since alot of pve crafted gear secondary stat is pretty good for dps. the only one i think is useless is JUST accuracy and besides drg and maybe mnk, most gear doesnt have accuracy on it ) being a unfair advantage/better to a 250+ morale gear in FRONTLINES is due to the fact that the morale stat is useless (and that is a what we are talking about here btw FRONTLINES, not WOLVES DEN) and therefore instantly makes pve crafted gear superior by having an extra stat, which increase the your overall performance in FL.by missing one stat on your gear, it would be foolish to bring pvp gear, even penta melded in FL. now if we were talking about WOLVES DENS, then you would be correct, a penta pve gear is vastly inferior to the 250+ morale stat that amplifies the other stats on the gear.however, we are not talking about WD, now are we?

edit i just reread the 3th point and if you think piety,which is damn good for healer to prevent yourself from going mp dry faster and parry, which is also good because its shaves of dmg for a melee dps or tank is useless, well that all i need to know that you are full of crap.

True, we should go stuff in PvE for PvP content....

Piety is pretty worthless, the scholar is infinite mp anyway and the white mage now has more than enough from mana draw and shroud

the sch ok ,with aetherflow and that drain attack but the whm... unless im keep getting paired with really bad whms who lacked mp management, they always seems to hit that "dry" point after the 4 minute mark in a match.but if you say so, my whm is only lvl 34.

As long as they alternate the cooldowns of shroud and mana draw its really hard to run out of mana unless they are spamming regen every second
