Fantasia being sold on Mogstation - Can we get an update?

Hello.

Even though I know multiple threads have been made on the topic I would like to ask you to read my post before passing judgment or informing me that I am impatient (I already know that I am or I would not be making this post to begin with. I am also petty because my enjoyment of the game is enhanced by how pretty I think I look, so you can label me that as well).

First, let's examine a few things. We know that the developers and SE staff have acknowledged the overwhelming desire for Fantasia. As seen here:

So, we know that they are aware of how much a lot of us want it. However, my question is this:

Can we get an update on the process? Is there any information you can throw our way? Some of us may not understand how long the process of "finalizing the details" can take or what exactly it involves - So we feel left in the dark because it looks like another version of "Please look forward to it" while we sit around waiting for something that may not happen for another 6 months.

I realize this thread will most likely be deleted because it seems the support staff are tired of these topics popping up, but I feel as if my request is not unreasonable and something that would greatly help those of us who have been waiting since September to hold on longer.

I'm guessing it'll come with a patch since like yoshi said they're working on the servers and might put it in game. So hopefully we'll get it tomorrow or at the latest 2.3 really hope tomorrow though because I don't wanna use my item restore on it

I'm fairly anxious for this as well. Lately, I've been wanting to change my character to a highlander.

They'll do it when they introduce the new race(s). That's when I would want to use it anyhoo, especially if Viera becomes an available class!

Doubt they'll wait that long since new races aren't coming until the expansion. Still say tomorrow or 2.3 is the best bet because they probably need to be patched in. Also didn't we get the extra retainers during a patch?

This is what I am hoping as well... Either 2.25 or 2.3. And yes, we got retainers patched in shortly after the imeplentation of patch 2.2 - It went live an hour or two after on the Mog Station if I remember correctly.

Fantasia Potions aint coming in patch 2.25 sorry. If it was they would have already posted info about the price. It will most likely be 2.3 or sometime before 2.4. But there has been no info in the JP forums about them adding it in 2.25.

I believe they will wait for the first expansion, when they do something like add in real money transactions, they need to be able to take the first month's numbers to their bosses so they can receive all sorts of praise. They did this with selling extra retainers, they waited until they released ventures so more people would buy them. So why do I think they will wait for the expansion? Simple, that is when they will add a new race, so it will bolster their first month's sales by not only people swapping to the new race, but then half of them swapping back a couple weeks later, because everyone is a bunny now.

Didn't they say they are adding an NPC that will exchange gender locked items in 2.3? Seems like a good thing to go together with a Fantasia roll out.

Also name changes. If I ever make this toon Male I'd rather not be named Ginger!

If they wait that long they'll be losing more money in the long run, though.

I.. just don't understand why it has to take so much time.
The item is in-game, mog station already has various features and we're still waiting.

They are making plenty of money now though, if they hold this off for a bit, then start selling it, it will look like another surge in profits for them. Sometimes it's not about the amount of money you make, but when you make that money.

That's what I'm trying to figure out myself. Not even from a, "listen to me complain!" perspective - but rather because I am seeking answers.

When players continuously complained about lag and server issues near the launch of the game, Yoshi P himself came forward and actually explained to the player base why the lag was happening, how they can alleviate it, and what measures are being taken along with how much time the overall process took/would take. It was enlightening for me because I am a simple Law Student, so I have no idea how any of that worked and I honestly walked away from it feeling like I totally understood.

I suppose I am asking for something similar here. I at least want to know what is going on behind the scenes so I can at least try to sympathize with their hard work for us rather than sitting here twiddling my thumbs forever with no word.
