I'm a high school student, and don't have so much time to play games, but in order to collect all the Atmas, I tried my best to buy more time spending on it.
(Except school time and doing my homework. :p)
more than 10 hours hard work and the result seems not so good. I just got 5 Atmas.
A Japanese player told me, the system may have a regular time to refresh, but the list he gave me didn't work well as I expected...

You do realize that you probably gotten more in your 10 ish hours than a lot of people have been trying to since day 1?
I completed my set, but I can say I spent about 12 hours in North shroud alone. -

Took me like 15 hours to get the one in the desert, my most unlucky one, took like 6 days... I swear if It took any longer, the next time saw that map I'd punch a hole through the screen:p

You'll be complaining about the next quest stage where you're going crazy grinding brayflox for 13,500 myth tomes, fight spawns with people to clear the hunting logs, and wait 1+ hour for the quest-specific FATEs to pop? Because I can imagine that's what people will be complaining next even if atma drop rate is improved.
Just clear T7 if it's too much grinding. Just login for coil once a week and you'll get your weapon within 1-8 weeks. -

I've been trying to get my 12th Atma for days already to no avail. While a handful of Atmas came very quickly, many I've spent days searching for with little luck. The drop rate is awful and the system is so excruciatingly boring to play through.

I suggest to allocate a portion of time to ATMA and then move on to other things, doing this in one go is madness.
I generally chat up FC mates or watch Youtube when I do mindless grinds lilke this, and allocate 1/4 of my daily game time to this then move on. -

Watched animoo whilst doing atmas. Payed next to no attention the entire time. Felt like it took 20 minutes.
The trick is to stop caring about atma drops and you get them (seemingly) quicker.

I got 1 after 3 hours over the course of the first week. 2-5 came within an hour and half of each other one Sunday afternoon. 6 took about 4 hours over a week, 7 came within 5 fates after 6th. its all RNG. I do it only while queued up for DF. so for the most part seems to average out about 1 an hour, er a little over.
on a side note, I should probably get a psvita to do it while sittin on the shitter as well.. -

Ok up until now i have been ok with Atma and while rng does suck big for these my complaint based off of yesterday is it truly is unfair.
Going to low level fates as blm and where their is Bards and arcanists (mainly Bards) only attack i would have that would be fast enough is scathe but low levels do not have it.
So how many attacks do i get off, maybe one which = bronze
I was so mad yesterday that i ended up switching to my Bard, payback, hehe
Now before some say why have you just not gone as Bard, well drops have come more frequent when i am blm it seems, 6 atmas as blm and only 2 as Bard
Besides some players their only character may be blm
