For the same reason they didn't just let myth. drop as well as philo. points ~ If they are gained to quickly they lose their value and then people would complain in a week that do not have anymore use for them.
I think they should just change it so all points drop at the end or at least some of the myth as well, without raising the acctually amount you get per dungeon. That way people would still stop leaving after the second boss and the points remain valuable at least for a certain time.
This would probably benefit all the SR groups more than anything and they don't like us doing that.

I've been suggesting something similar for a longer time.
Full payout at the end, and you get points awarded for the amount of bosses slain in the dungeon.
Full dungeon? Here's your full reward.
You came in at the last boss? Here's your 10 Mythology and 4 Soldiery.

If you DC you still have a few minutes to come back, they confirmed that getting booted upon coming back wasn't intended.
And for getting kicked, well, there's usually a reason you get kicked. ;)
Sure there's a reason, not great ones but there are some. Brayflox's last boss has a small chance to drop one of the new minions apparently, which is selling for like 200-300k on my server. Plus any items gathered from chests along the way or after the boss are worth 800 company seals.
That's not really possible with every weapon needing 13500 tombs. Based on your post, I am assuming you don't have an atma weapon--which is fine, it's up to you. Moving everything to be rewarded at the end will be taken as an insult to most players, and with the whole atma/animus grind right now, that probably wouldn't be a good idea to make a majority of players more upset.

270 dungeons / 30 days = 9 dungeons per day. That's still a lot.
Although I don't even care if they exchange extra Soldiery tomes at the end. The current system of 1/2 myth 1/2 myth and then soldiery drops is stupid.
It should be 1/3 myth, 1/3 myth, 1/3 myth + soldiery. You don't have to change the # of tomes dropped from the dungeon to make the last boss more worthwhile after people have capped soldiery.
I requested this months ago and it was refused/ignored, too bad, there is almost zero reason to be doing roulette after I hit my soldiery cap.
I think it woud be a very good idea.
I don't have anything about those 2 boss & go out runs, but some people do it with the party finder too, and that only get people mad.
With the nerfed Mitho (vs Philo) drop rate, I think that it woud be a good way to compensate it and to make people stay till the end of the dungeon. Wich is a way to prevent pissed players, wich is a way to prevent them from stoping his suscription :D
Right that is a lot, and that's not even counting the time it takes to do the book part of the quest. Having to do another 3 dungeons, 3 leves (which I actually like), 100 mobs, and 3 fates which often tend to be in remote locations that are dead to players and impossible to solo, so you have to ask for help on them. I don't see people getting iLv100 Animus weapons.
I think the entire Animus system is broken. completing the 12 atma should give you some improvement on your weapon.
It should be at least the equivalent of a iLv95 weapon, OR it should have the base damage of the weapon increase w/ % of the 9 books being completed 1base damage @ 3 books, 1 base damage @ 6 books.
the fully upgraded Animus should be a iLvl 110 weapon.
The amount of time and work it takes to make one when you can get a iLvl110 weapon easily (in comparison) though coil is depressing.

They should do something. Myth gain is to low for much much they ask for...
8 months since launch and people are still saying "tombs" smh.
