The Lightning Strikes quests need to be available to everyone.

The quest rewards are all level 13 items.
WHY did you make it impossible for someone NEW to FFXIV to get the entire set?
I struggled to level 26 before the end of the last Lightning Strikes event just to get the quests for the first two Fates.
Glad I'll finally be able to complete the set! But many others won't unless they live at a desk and never go to sleep, that is :cool:

It's not like a level 50 is going to use this gear in game, BUT it DOES have good stats for players of the right level.,who can only get one piece. :mad:

Just make all the quests obtainable by anyone level 12 or higher. Issue resolved.

PLEASE for the love of god SE, do not shut out your low levels from participation like so many other games do. It's very disheartening, and leads to bad reviews, which in turn leads to prospective new players not bothering to try this awesome game.

Anyone who didn't get everything the first time will be able to get them again later this month when the event comes back. If you can't get to level 38 from November 14, 2013 to February 2014.. You're doing it wrong o.o

lol you can get to lvl 13 in a day just by doing hunting logs alone. not to mention fates which is totally soloable in 1-10

um level up and you most likely will not have this issue again. its not necessarily a shut out they have to include higher level people as well....

Might as well just give it away for free. Buy at npc vendor for 1 gil and available forever.

20 days is honestly plenty of time to hit 38, especially if you do the low level duty roulette every day once you're 16.

Level 38 is reasonably available to everyone within the 20-day time frame for this event that we're being given a second chance to do.

If look at all the other events, SE has been very good about keeping events available to low levels. Not only were/are players given time to level, but this is the second running of the same event. Be grateful they even decided to give people a second chance.

This, anyone who missed out last time has the chance to complete the event now.

Ummm what. Lose sleep? O.o it doesn't take long at all to get to the required level....

The final quest was level 44 i believe. I know as i was 3 levels away when it ended.
Also i thought this items will be part of Vanity?

There is something much more of a concern though..

We should be ABLE to get both male and female sets. When FHANTASIA becomes available, I don't want the set to become obsolete due to character gender.

I'm almost there now, I wanted two of my other characters to have the full outfits too, so I've been trying to get a level a day. Both level 40 right now.

Agreeing with the OP here. Yes leveling is easy to a extent but trying to get a alt up for the haircut alone is a LOT of work! you have to do so a lot of things to even go city to city really and though yes its much easier then 1.0, I would like to have the hairstyle on my little rp character i dont really want t level into the 40's on a DoW/M to get.

You only need to do the first quest to get the haircut which is nice, but if you want the full outfit you need to get to 45.

I think its really not very hard to level a character but only when there is enough free time. I have a new character which is lv13 but have no time to level her up because of lunar new year and winter holiday =/ hope there are other chances to get the new hairstyle

If your character is level 13 you can get the hairstyle, only the first quest is needed for that. :)

You folks misunderstand.
You can only get the very first quest if you're level 12. The second at level 26, third at lvl 38 and the last one at level 45.
If you're only level 12-13 as of tomorrow, when the event starts again, then most low levels are not going to stand a snowball's chance in hell of hitting level 45 in the few short days these event fates run for.

Just let all the event quests be picked up at level 13-17 and then change the drop list of the event fates so they offer the complete set in options and you can choose one of the items you're missing for the set. Rinse and repeat until you're done the set.

At least then you have a CHANCE of getting the clothing set no matter if you're only level 13 because that's the level the stuff is MEANT for.

20 days is more than enough time for a level 12-13 player to reach 45, especially if it's their first job and have access to the exp rewards from the main storyline quests.

I did it, I'd just restarted on another server when the event hit, I got to 45 with plenty of time to spare before the event ended, and before anyone calls no lifing it, I was playing like 4 hours a day at that time during work days.
