She's actually her normal FFXI size.

It just shows that Eorzea is in reality, a miniature world.

Shantoto has always been that big. We just didn't notice it because we're not awesome enough to see her greatness!

She also eats player souls in order to grow to such sizes. Be very afraid...

I wish reward was a to transform into the body model of a XI taru instead of XIV's taru.

I'm ready for the cross overs to stop. I don't want to see every SE character come to FFXIV just because of their games release/anniversary. Makes this game seem less it's own.

I disagree, as long as they aren't part of the story I like that they take the time to add them. I'm just glad this time is a crossover I care about lol.

always assumed it was the same person, look at the name of the achievement and go read the whole part of the quest from that relic and it's just shantoto all over the place

Its kind of like how FFX is actually the same world and the prequel for FFVII. If you pay attention to the storyline.

Now then FFXIV and FFXI have the same races so somehow they must be linked, the Shantotto thing maybe that link.

And again its a fate event -.- the community hates them, SE seems to love them. What is wrong with just making it a decent quest line...

Actually, Spira and Gaia are 2 different worlds; its implied that the future generations descending from Shinra merely expanded outwards towards other worlds with their technology.
