Hello everyone, I just got my Holy lance and im wondering if I should start stacking as much skill-speed as possible and whether it would be a good idea to do so to increase Dps. What do you think? Thanks.

Current estimations leave Skill Speed as the least powerful additional stat because it does not affect auto attack damage. I would imagine I will get Holy Lance for 2.2s Vanity Slots because it is very pretty.
489 Skill Speed and it's awesome because fitting more combos into a phase means more dps... no one wants titan to jump away when ur about to use full thrust. pretty boss stat dont bother above 500 though.
To directly answer your question: I don't think anyone considers maxing out skill speed to be a good strategy for increasing DPS, compared to the other secondary stats.
It's pretty well accepted that skill speed is our least valuable secondary stat. That said, the most important thing is your main stat, and keeping accuracy capped; so it doesn't really matter, and you should do whatever makes ya happy. The hardest fights in the game do not require anywhere near perfect gear.
The problem I can see when you stack skillspeed is that you'll run out of TP frequently, even with Invigorate, you'll find yourself TP starving. The reason why monks don't bother too much with skillspeed as well.
i think skillspeed as dragoon is pretty useless, 100 ss are a 0.1 sec lower cooldown, which is nothing
it only makes sense at monks cause they can hit 2.0 sec cd with it, if they stack it
dragoon hasnt that bonus
im not sure there is any really definitive reason, its just that i have to manage invigorate on CD every time... using Ultima as reference, a fight where u have 100% boss time pretty well until the bombs/ lazers. I did 310 DPS to him today, no food, until them lazers
As a piece of reference, I'm over the cap on accuracy. I just got a lot of coil drops that were acc heavy. I'll probably get the holy lance next week just to lower my surplus in accuracy. My WAR and SMN will kill me, but they aren't i88 so w/e.
IMO if your job has an ability that works off of a secondary stat, like crit for SMN/SCH, then you can worry about which secondary stats are relevant. If not, get to i90 and get your accuracy in range.
We have life surge, which makes our need for crit slightly less, but it's nowhere near the amount that bootshine technically devalues crit on MNK.
