Q: will individual housing prices be based off server Gil amount like the FC housing?
I am curious if SE will base the individual housing prices off how much Gil is on a server, player, FC vault, retainers etc, like they did for the FC houses.
This could be a problem for the players if this happens because, as we all know, not many people are spending their Gil so they can help save for the FC houses and be ready for personal houses when they release. If everyone has enormous amounts of Gil mountains and SE decides to do their math...we end up paying out our ears?
To Fix and Prevent future housing price troubles
They failed to realize how many people in an effort to make money turned to one of the few places they can make money which is the market place. Which caused massive price drops the hardest hit were the "Legacy worlds" and the nonlegacy players who joined that server to play with their friends who were legacy. I think they need to come up with new ways in which to decide prices on the new things that come out because all the new system does is push players who are impatient or tired of working hard to make money into the arms of RMT. What they should do for the player housing is announce a rough estimate of what the prices for the houses might be watch the markets on each world and the FC's and see how each economy reacts and adjust the prices accordingly. So that new content makes the game more enjoyable for all not just some like has been my experience lately.
