If there is any proof of this last time I checked nobody has bought a house not even a small one.
There may be a lot more people who play on legacy servers which would mean the server has a whole has more gil but for individuals in a free company they probably have a similar amount of gil to other people on other servers. Yes there are some people who have a lot of gil saved from 1.0 but that isn't the whole population of the sever.
We still earn gil at the same rate as all other servers. Gil is created through selling stuff to npcs, doing dungeons, doing daily quest and other quests. All these reward the same gil no matter what server you are on thus making it much harder to buy a house on a legacy server because we have to pay 3x-10x more non legacy servers.
Something needs to be done about this. Basically all the new housing items and such are being ignored because nobody wants to pay or can afford the high prices.

Because most people aren't dumb enough to buy a house right now. Even if your FC had the funds, it makes no sense to rush and buy a house if they will be cheaper later on.

Well plots are selling but not super fast like the community thought it would. I know my FC is still working on getting rank 6 and gil together. We are also trying to decide to get a small ASAP or be take our time and get a medium for the long run.

funny thing about this they say there too much gil on the legacy servers yet no one bought a house on sargatanas yet, but people on the new servers are starting to buy first class homes right now.

Either lose 4.5mil and pay 20mil for housing or get it back and pay 200mil for housing. Your gil's buying power hasn't changed. Those who can afford housing now would be able to afford it in 1.0 with housing prices adjusted to 1.0. Those who can't afford it now still wouldn't be able to afford it if set to 1.0 prices.

You need to strike a balance. Everyone's holding their breath. The cheapest lots will be the first to go. Small housing will be bought up in three months by the smaller guilds that would rather jump on them than be forced to relocate or buy a larger property.
Class 5 Medium/Large housing will be the next to go before the 90 day settling period begins, also forcing you to chose either a more expensive property of the same size, or a size smaller than what you were aiminng for.
Most FC's at this point are more concerned about the prices than they are about any arbitrary 'location' value that has ranked them worst-in-class. -

I dont know where Malboro is ranked in terms of "richness" but only one FC *as of yesterday* has bought a small piece of land and has a house. Was kind of sad seeing 6(I think) districts per zone and 30ish plots per district only one small house....
I figure the bigger FCs are saving for large though -
