The one nerf no one's talking about

Depens on the new netcode for the Boss fights.

If Square actually managed to improve it (i highly doubt that) people should be able to evade aoe now.

It's worded funny and I don't think applies to stun, since stun already has "diminishing returns".
Unless they mean it'll be like elemental attribute resist in WOW; where you could start seeing "resist" every now and then (Though this was mended via higher accuracy attribute in WOW).

Still, you rarely use stun in high level encounters.
It would be interesting if they're putting silence on the "diminishing returns" table. Interesting and scary.

What they mean is that the DR timer on stuns, when they reset resistance, started on the first stun and not on the subsequent stuns. So with the change, the timer starts on the last stun applied making them immune for a "longer" duration.

Not really, you get 3 stuns in before you can't stun for 30 seconds. Just means people will actually have to move now. I think it's more of a game changer for coil t2.

1) Stun is a status affliction so it still counts for this nerf.
2) They worded it fairly clear, they in no way mean elemental resists.
3) Ifrit is a set skill rotation, DPS has nothing to do with the timing of eruptions.

That makes much more sense.
So this means you'd have to pacify instead, until the DR table for stun is clear; and vice versa.
Still, with reduced damage to the erruptions, plus this mainly affecting only one encounter (One which you could also just dodge out of), I don't think it's a big deal. Unless you're determined to cheese it and your group is bad at rotating stun/pacify.

Not sure I agree this was worded clearly.
But you can actually force Ifrit to "jump" early if your DPS is high enough and thus allowing your stun DR table to reset in time for a 4th stun. (My small group used to do this a lot; I'd stun for them).
In PUG you normally will have 1 erruption go off because of low DPS.

I've never had a fourth eruption and I've been in some pretty terrible pug groups.

It's similar to Garuda with "skipping" a phase. Sort of.
My PUG's must have been worse than yours, because 9/10, I am usually ready to warn the group about it, unless I can get a pacify to trigger via shield block.

It's a PLD skill, shield swipe. can only be used within a short time after blocking though.

Paladin has it in the form of Shield Swipe.
It requires that the Paladin "blocks", though. That can make it tricky and the time you have to use the skill, is limited, too.
