First off, I think Item Level should not be forced, it should be the decision of the people queing up. To do that SE should make a better Duty Finder Options Menu with a better filter on it. E.g....
--Player Filter
Language-> JEDF (can select multiple)
Player Type -> Casual, HardCore (can select both)
Cutscenes -> Enabled, Disabled
Average Item Level -> 55, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, etc (Can select multiple)
Number of Tanks -> 1, 2
Number of Healers -> 1, 2
Healer Spread -> Check box "Prevents two whm, or two sch, etc"
Tank Spread -> Check box "Prevents two war, or two pld"
--Gear Filter
Need Disabled -> Checkbox, for gearing out alts

The other stuff seems like it'd be better off just shouting your own party as it would cause a huge enough separation you might never get in a party. -

Who care's about the waiting time, it's the duty finder... It would only be bad waits for the people using it. If you don't want to wait, check all langauges, all item levels, and both cutscene boxes and que as fast as it is now.
Options don't make life hard, they make it easier. If your only option was to work 100 hours a week in a factory would that make your life hard or easy? If you were a programmer and your only options was to write code in notepad would that make you more or less efficient then if you had an IDE?
What it is, is people are lazy. Oh no, I had to click 3 things I don't understand, this is soooo harddd. -

Some of those options will create bottle necks such as 1 or 2 tanks/healers and DPS/healer/tank preference.
I think Casual/Hardcore option would be by far the most helpful out of the things you listed. -

On a serious note, Que as an DPS for Hard Mode primal, AK and WP is already long enough even with all the Language check. We don't need it to be more complicated and longer. But the Cut Scene on and Off is a good ideas. And how can the game differency the people form Hardcore and Casual when you have it check? -

You guys really think finding players for a dungeon is like searching for specific stuff on ebay. They will always be there waiting with the same options and correct class for u. That 3 or 7 special ppl that many other ppl are searching for.

Also if you knew anything about why match making systems are implemented in any game you'd know that it has nothing to do with making your run the way you want it, it was introduced in games to make it quick to get into an instance. The limit being added (ilvl implementation) is going to be exactly how it is in every other game which is the minimum amount of gear needed to complete the instance (usually the ilvl closest rounding down to the ilvl gear that drops).Quote:

Ways to get gear:
1) Level 47-50 Dungeons (minus AK) have gear, good enough to set you up for AK.
2) Philo and myth acquired from Wanderer's Palace, Praet, CM provide you with a way to farm ilvl 70 DL gear or Crafting mats for ilvl70 Crafted gear.
3) Doing the grand company missions (as of the recently changed quest) to supply yourself with a weapon and a few pieces of armor depending on class and faction.
4) Base level crafted gear either made by yourself or other players / friends. (i.e. Militia gear)
Ways to improve Duty Finder:
1) Add a cross server friend list that lets you que up together.
2) Allow groups to reque with who ever is in the group while in the dungeon.
3) Add a gear level requirement on AK and HM Garuda / HM Titan (already being implemented)
4) Add more instance servers. (already being implemented)
5) Increase Philo and Myth drops. (Already being implemented) -

Casual/Hardcore is not a good differentiator, because it's subjective and nobody can draw out a set of definition for what it really means in the DF.
I would propose just a box "match similar gear level" instead of casual/hardcore, if you really want such options.
