Let me start by saying
For the most part, I agree with a lot of you.
There needs to be more end game content
It does kind of feel like a grind fest... ugh... anyone who's had to cough
up 1300+ tomes for that heavy armor feels my pain.
The game is still young
This game was only released less than two months ago.
I haven't even gotten down Chimera or Garuda HM yet,
and this isn't my first rodeo.
There are a lot of people to please
Keep that in mind. Have you ever done any programming? Its not easy.
I tried learning a little once and I was like... um yeah no. The closest thing
I did was made a bot (a legal one, an npc in another game)
I feel your pain guys, if your true fans keep up the suggestions,
but please stay positive, this game is someone's "baby"

Personally I just wish there was a way the producers could make us all happy.
But think of all the other things... you got crafting... sub classes, achievments, jeez

I know 2.0 is a reboot of the game etc. etc., but a lot of people already had darklight stuff and relic from the start of 2.0 and have nothing left to look forward to other than coil a couple of times a week and 8 AK runs a week for myth gear. Er, you could, I did, your ignorance of the game is showing. Yes, forced-grouping meant that a couple of limit breaks needed a group, but soloing to 75 was possible and done by quite a few.Quote:

I like to think I play this game A LOT, probably in the area of 20-24 hours/week, and still have TONS of stuff to do. Having not played 1.0 the only lack of content for me was trying to level my Job.I had virtually zero quests to do apart from the story every 5 level's.
That turned the game into one long grind that became so boring i did't want to log on. -

Unless they added something in the expansions after Wings of the Goddess (I quit just before they lifted the 75 cap), soloing wasn't really feasible (or more accurately, efficient) by most jobs, except mostly BSTs, RDMs, and some BLUs. For most other jobs maybe you could technically kill something yourself but depending on the job it could get pretty hairy, especially if the mob was Even Match or higher. You wouldn't be able to solo at any sort of normal pace that way. Not to mention a lot of this soloability came pretty late in the game's lifecycle, when they started making things easier for the players.Quote:

There's still a lot to do in the game, if your part of this % of players
who are upset and your already geared to the teeth.... why not take a break?
Try something different for a while? Maybe even something outside the Realm?
I hate the idea of suggesting that and I'm not saying quit.....
Maybe get more creative you know? Find something else in the game you really enjoy doing. -

While using weapons & gears from new expansion into old ones, they do make a really contrast comparison. Sure, everything in old expansions becomes way too easy, but not all of them. At least there's still quite sum of BCNMs, Voidwatch, Abyssea NMs, and others that still proves quite a challenge which needs party to conquer them. And it is even way harder on Seekers of Adoulin contents. Reasons why weps/gears there are ilvl 100+ is because the regular mobs there are averagely lvl 105+. You won't find any mob that has level below 100 in Adoulin.
And there's this content called Wildkeepers Reive, a closed instance where each player requires special KI that's quite costly. Many can enter when it's available, and there's usually more than 50 or 100 players inside. And yet, clearing it can take up to almost a whole day, last time I knew t took 3-20 hours to beat it. Carrying stacks of reraise or donning an auto-reraise gears is a must, not only for this content, but also for any other Adoulin contents.
So yes, why my screencap proves the soloing part in XI, but the difficulty itself kinda scaling up when you tried harder content. If you wish for challenge on older one, try donning something equal to that content, Heck, even Nyzul Isle still proves a challenge. Oh, and level sync still applies to most of closed instance content too.
