I don't know why you say DPS show case, do you realized you group with 2 bard and 2 smn? Compare with them,your DPS is still low even with your 10 million Gil gear. Where you get that mount of Gil from? Jump in Titan fight? that is not good move. in pug group people will leave if saw you jump during the fight.

You make me recall someone in diablo iii forum. Who has billion gear to play the monk and keep talking monk was fine. After 3 month debate, blizzard finally buffed monk but still under op barb. call people troll during debate is not right. Not many monk had a good FC to carry them for some hard fight. Many many monks are very hard to find group since most people realize monk isn't strong job. Same to dragoon. both melee class need some help.

This isn't Diablo. This is FFXIV. And I've seen time and time again, parser (even though they're a terrible measuring stick if you use DoTs), numbers, statistical data, etc that all point that Monk DPS is fine. While you, post after post, only input your own opinions why "monks suck" and ignoring all data that says otherwise. Did you even look at his parser numbers that you love so much? His was far higher than any of your beloved Bard/Summoner DPS numbers on a Titan fight. But you'll just ignore it and continue to troll people saying that Monk is terrible when you are probably more than likely garbage at the job and keep spreading misinformation about the job. My FC doesn't carry people, we weed them out. No one in my FC carries anyone.

It's time someone just started calling you out.

You're even on my server, I just noticed. If you want, I can go back to Darklight Gear/Crafted Gear that anyone can get and we can do AK together and you can run your parser.

No he is right, you are a troll. Your posts are borderline pure gibberish and you keep going on and on about monks being bad even after experienced monks who have actually done the content have told you otherwise. Monks in this game are nowhere near the underpowered mess that they were in diablo 3, so I'm not sure where you got that from except for they share the name of "monk", which is stupid. The games aren't even in the same genre, why make that point?

Monks lack a bit in the utility department, but they are nowhere near the levels of needing to be "carried" so stop spouting that nonsense.

You are misinformed, stubborn, and you aren't constructive. Why do you still post here?

MNK DPS is pretty good, i'm at top DPS in every fight where i don't lose GL all the time.

So what MNK really needs are just some QoL changes and everything will be fine.

- GL duration up to 20 sec
- Ranged 100 Potency attack which grants 1 GL stack, Chi ball or something. (with 20sec~ cooldown)

Do you realize he used lb at the end of fight? Do you want to try 4 monk DPS for Titan? you keep talking monk is fine. how many people generated monk weak topic? You think all other are petty bad as monk? Sure We can run ak together if you want to see how much difference. Only no lb can tell, in Titan , after I used lb I had double DPS than another monk.

His parser total is 109,818.

The NEXT best DPS did 84,187 total

10,9818 - 84,187 = 25,631

Now subtract the Limit Break number of 11,856.

He is still 13,775 total damage over the next nearest DPS.

Stop being ignorant.

I don't see parse, that fine, by your number he did about 200dps during the fight. don't know what weapon he used, in general 200 to 230 DPS is pretty normal to monk. But some DPS job claim they can do over 300 DPS. Question is when uber vs über, who is even über.
If you watch other poster from other DPS, they are hard to agree monk is on the top. If monk are real good, you will see many group run two monks for hard fight in video. But that is not the case at moment. no group looking for more than 1 melee DPS if they can find 3 ranged DPS.

Who claims they do 300 DPS in an actual fight and not just on a practice dummy that isn't a Summoner who's using the broken parser to buff his numbers? I'll call them a liar to their face if they are not in full ilvl 90 gear. I'll bet my bottom dollar that they don't have any proof either. They just say, "Oh, I do 300 DPS!" and you believe them?

200-230 DPS is pretty normal for ALL DPS. There is a balance. DPS is not the issue when there is a balance. When there is a balanced DPS, it'll be unbalanced in other areas. This is why Bard is taking a lot of flak right now not because of their "super" DPS, but because on top of their DPS, they bring highly valued utility that melee cannot provide. If any group brings 2 good Monks to a hard fight, they will do just as well as if they brought 2 more good ranged. The DPS will never be that far apart.

Again, DPS is not the issue. The issue is the skill ceiling as well as utility.

Thats because melee is harder than ranged. Most groups (pugs) want to take something reliable and easy (ranged) but want 1 melee for the ST limit break. Honestly tho, you are just ignorant. Go watch the video, find the parse, do the math, and post it all here for us to show you where you failed. Don't say you already did... your claiming a LB of 11k increased his DPS by 100... your wrong.

but you saw a monk doing 290 dps on dummy...a bard would never reach 290 no matters how hard he try on dummy(a long test...not silly 20 sec buff burst -_-).

Im sorry but compare dummy dmgs means nothing since any class can do its rotation perfectly, with will barely happen in most hard fights... if ur monk can do this 290 dps on titan or coil them it would be a fair comparison. plus i don't get all the discussion, who cares if monk dps is low on raid, etc... its still more them enough for u to take him with u without the battle prolong a substantial amount, wait till pvp come to rly worry about this.
