I sent two tickets via the online help with the first getting deleted. I filed a 2nd ticket and now a month later no response. all I wanted to do is register my CE copy on the same account as my SE. Now I either want Square to tell Amazon to give me a 100% refund or register my CE and comp me in some form the $30 difference either in game time or with in game currency - or - a standard edition of the ps3 version of the game.

I don't think you can have 2 copies of the game registered under the same account. If your trying to register a whole new copy of the game with a new license key then that could be the issue since the system see you already have and are playing on the Se version and it might also be Sony that is disallowing you having 2 copies of a game registered on a single ps3 account.
Your asking for SE to take care of a problem you created without researching if you could even register the Ce version before dropping the $$ and buying it instead of just upgrading your SE which you can via the Mog station. Sorry , but in the real world..its not up to companies to refund or make anything up to you for your own choices. You may have to open a separate account to register the CE version or possibly cancel the SE version and (its a long shot and a very long one) beg the CS to transfer your character . I doubt square enix is going to put themselves out money for your choices and i can say with 100% confidence they are not going to go to bat with you with Amazon for a refund either.
If its just the CE upgrade you bought then it should be automatically applied after you purchase the upgrade it via the mog station. -

However AFAIK SE haven't provided for a Standard -> Collector Service Account upgrade which is what Neutron I think is trying to do. Since AFAIK there is no such thing as a 'CE upgrade' then I don't see how he could have bought one off Amazon, he bought a full version which gives no reason to think CAN be used to upgrade a Standard one. -

Its Not up to SE to fix your mistake...see if you can get a refund from Amazon and use the cash to buy the CE upgrade if it is available to PS3 users also..I only bought it for my PC and don't know about the PS3 version of this game but i suspect the digital CE upgrade is available to everyone. -

It is the PC. At no point on their main site during the pre-launch activities did I see anything about a CE upgrade nor did I read anywhere where I could not register another game code like every other mmo I've played nor did I read anywhere that it is ok to delete legitimate service tickets because it is easier. I am not alone with this issue.

09-25-2013, 01:16 AMCrazyCanukkI dont think its the issue of registering the new game..Its an issue of your trying to overlay the new CE key onto an existing account that already is registered with another game key which is most likely not possible . They might (and thats a very small might) be able to if they close your SE account then move your toon to the new account at some time but i doubt they are going to do that any time soon when they haven't even enabled server transfers and have many other issues far more important to deal with 1st including needing to hire many more CS staff than they currently have.Quote:

you assumed, you were wrong.... take responsibility for it. Its Not Square Enix or Amazon's problem to deal with.
try to get the refund from Amazon or sell the CE version on Ebay, friend, etc and recover your cash..and by the upgrade for $20 from the mog station....or you can continue with your tantrum and not play the game.
