I contacted Square Enix Customer Support, and their answer makes no sense at all.

I edited out my personal Information.
Basically, I am one of the many people that accidentally added their game (In my case Collectors Edition) to the wrong service account.
I also added a standard copy of the game to my main account (with my character on it) so I could keep playing while SE sorted out this thing via email.
I heard people having success through live chat, so I had a go.
Now basically, SE is incapable of deleting Service 2 (my accidental CE account) and granting CE items to Service 1 (where my character is)
Instead, their option to fix it is for me to simply buy a Digital Upgrade for Service 1.
The Support was reluctant to tell me anything else, other than it's policy.
Someone please explain this nonsense to me? Do I seriously have to give SE yet more money instead of them just taking the easy route of deleting service 2 from my account, and granting me a Digital Upgrade to my Service 1 account?
I really don't know where else to go with this...

TL;DR, first Support Person effectively lied to me. SE Support really need to get their act together. Really the most diabolical service, but in the end all was sorted through perseverance.
