Weapon/Gear enchanting Petition

Should we add this hectic feature of RNG?! (Random Number Generater)

Granted we do have the (+1-2) feature but IMO it isn't that exciting nor is it noticeable at all. maybe add a new feature or change it back to just +1 HQ versions that are actually noticeable in quality which made a huge difference in gameplay/performance .

PROS

it's a good way to stimulate the economy as far as removal of gil if we were to need to purchase, craft and or find items to "enchant" armors and weapons.

"Enchanting" could add damage, deffense, extra stats, extra slots for matera?

utilizing "stones" or other "armors/weapons" to further "enhance" your item would add more utilization of the tools within the game and also expand on content. So much potential and so many diff ways to implement it.

CONS

If you have bad luck in Las Vegas then... I wouldn't want this feature either >.>

Keeping up with others that are more lucky than you are.

Well I'm all for it! This is always a fun and exciting feature.

did you by chance read the info regarding Materia in one of the posts from Yoshi recently?

Buy the materia slot it then done? Sounds exciting... What an achievement~

The system hasn't been detailed yet, but I imagine it will involve more than that.

ENCHANTMENT!!!!!!!!

Frankly I do not think this is needed at all, most HQ gear later makes a difference on normal mobs and maybe a small difference on NM's. Now if the HQ gear also effected the bonus stats, that would be great. Then a gear that lets say adds +8 str could at maybe +1 or +2 add 2 more. This is not a bad idea, just I do not think it fits with this game. Maybe in the years to come when they add new crafts, maybe they can add a enchantment craft that does something like this, till then I just think fixing HQ to effect the bonus stats would be enough.

I agree but I just thought it would be an interesting idea since most games do well with the implementation. I seemed to have enjoyed it throughout past experiences

your first post was passive agressive... an attack, that's why I had reacted maybe?

he mentioned nothing related to this idea... Where is your comprehension skills? he stated that they will add matera thus adding extrea abilities such as double attack and possibly haste (I am guessing) also increased stats.

My ideas were just ideas. Maybe adding an enchantment system allowing you to increase materai slots within certain gear/weapon slots? allowing more materia on gear.

Why not add enchantments to materia? The possibilities are endless with the enchantment system like I had stated up above...

We have no idea how the materia will exactly work.

Oh I agree, I do think this would be a good thing to add, just not for awhile. I would like to see a solid foundation for the game first then enchanting(or as DA/DA2 fans put it, ENCHANTMENT!) as a craft. Then you would rank it up by either making items that hold enchants and you can add it to specific gear or you would have to directly apply it to that item. Something like that. I will give ya my /sign in about 1 year minimum depending where game stands. :P
