Machinist needs an overhaul with the pvp job style for pve.
Casting a charged rifle whilst moving is so satisfying, it would also be punishing in raid content, thus you'd be able to buff it's damage.
Also seen it posted around but I'd love to see rook and bishop return for pve, on a charged system with 2 charges each, max 2 turrets on the field at a time, one single target, one aoe.
Honestly replace our 123 with the charged attack from pvp and use the other 2 button slots for the turrets. Maybe bring the old gauss barrel animation back as a short personal dps buff (I miss the attachment animation). Make heatblast a way lesser potent 1.5 gcd version of the charged skill, for movement(the skill will be greeding the casts like other jobs, but also using heatblast to fulfill wildfires effects) and make wildfire a garunteed DH crit(Just for a stronger feeling skill.)
Give Drill AA and CS unique effects rather than being carbon copies of each other. Maybe make drill weaker but give it a bleed effect on the mob, AA can stun certain stunnable attacks and CS can remain a aoe line attack.
You can do anything, just please use the pvp charged system, it feels so good and machinist has never felt more defined in its life.
You made summoner a caster phys ranged. Then make us a Phys ranged caster, and let us earn our seat amongst the pure dps jobs.
Automaton queens ai is sucky, I'd rather it be tied to skills like summoner.
I can't be the only one that feels this strongly about the teased pvp gameplay style!
