I would like to preface this by saying that I am not even sure if SE or the gaming population even want to have active wards. Therefore I am making a pretty big assumption by offering the following idea. Assuming that SE even wants to take time to revamp the ward system, I would propose the addition of locations within the wards where amenities such as amusement parks or community garden centers or whatever, could be collectively constructed by ward members in a manner not unlike the Ishgard restoration and then activated and kept activated by continued player activity within the ward. As long as players were willing to visit their wards every so often, these amenities would be there for them. If activity dwindles, the amenities would be turned off but not removed as they have already been built, and then reactivated when activity increases again. Would there be any interest in this? Do people even care about housing wards?

For example, the community garden plot would allow ward members to use a portion of the plot for some additional gardening. You could also reward builders with some in game currency such as scrips or whatever, for their participation in building those amenities. Maybe even give access to new minions or mounts or whatever. The sky is the limit here. Would this be of interest to people? Would SE be willing to add this to their long term plans?Quote:
