About Lord of Verminion...

Should it be made simpler to play? Like, more like Pokemon and Digimon turned based combat with a little bit of capture the flag aspect in it or should it stay the same? Because I just tried playing it for the first time in 2 years and I couldn't even get passed the tutorial on my alt because it was just...to much word vomiting and things to remember. xD

A Pokemon style game (which is where WoW got its inspiration for pet battles from) is what I wanted the moment it was announced. Much to my great disappointment, that is not what we got. At all. It needs a serious rework. I don't know anyone who plays it, and I haven't even heard of anyone who plays it nowadays. lol It's one big jumbled and convoluted mess.

Yes please rework it into a Pokemon-like mini game.

That every new minion they put into the game has to get added stats and skills for this dead content is a horrible waste of dev time...

I tried to get into it a few times but it never managed to click with me.

I’d personally have liked it to be more like a simplified final fantasy tactics, what we got is so boring you just spawn as many minions as you can and rush the objective.

I really liked the idea behind some of the story missions like where you fight binding coil battles with minions, but it was ruined by the fact you just spawn as much hildibrand as you can and swarm the boss...

A simpler game where you play with a party of minions with varying skills where you have to put some thought into how you’re going to approach an encounter would have been a lot more fun.

As someone who play a lot of vermillion the the achievements, I would love to see it turn into a simplified FF tactics that would be great.

I think that would be a nice way to reference another FF franchise, too. :)

I can't get into Verminion if only because playing RTSes on a controller just feels so bad (and this is coming from someone who started playing RTSes with StarCraft 64).
There's a lot there to like, but man I just can't get into it. If they made it turn based though I'd eat it up.
Having some turn based content in this game would also (ironically?) be a fresh change of pace.

Why they didn't make it a turn based battle system like an old school FF is beyond me.

Loved that in WoW. Pet battles were a fantastic casual activity and even an okayish way to level.
I like the idea of battleground pet battles but it's seems overly complicated in some aspects, probably not great for controller players either. It feels like they wanted it to be somewhat tactical but the way it works it's most efficient to just steamroll everything by spamming certain minions. Something more tactical would've been great but turn-based like in Pokémon, preferably with 3 (or more) vs whatever offers much more options.

I was so hoping to see my Fat Cat bodyslam other minions into submission, Relaxo-style :c
