More Open World Content / Conquest
Asking those who have played FFXI back many years ago if they think a Conquest system could work in a future expansion? The general idea of this thread is to provide more incentives and more possibilities for players to play in the open world. For those who haven't heard of Conquest, would you prefer more open world content over repeating small instances/raids etc? I know I do, but to each their own.

Personally, I would like the development team to consider creating a system similar to Conquest as I think it would make the open world more interesting for those of us who prefere levelling/farming in the wider scenery. I haven't thought that much what the rewards could be, but my idea is that it could offer more competetive insentives to solo and small groups. Perhaps the reward could be a leaderboard feature (seasonal) to display top players/guilds/continents.
What are your ideas how the open world could be improved to offer a different experience to players who would like more to do outside of current dungeon/raid content?
