How many more jobs will we be getting?

I imagine it's getting harder and harder to balance the jobs and more and more resources will be spend adding new weapons, skills, quests, and more due to more jobs being added. So when will we be getting our last jobs? Next expansion, or a few more down the road? FFXIV isn't an old mmo but it's just something that's been weighing on my mind.

Do you think Gunbreaker will be the last tank? Do you think we're getting our last healer next expansion (if we get one at all)? Lemme know what you think.

I imagine it just gonna be a healer and caster and ranged at this point. The jobs could be anything at this point I'd imagine healers might be chemists or something and for caster I have no idea since the only ones I could think of is Blue mage as a real job and spell fencer but red mage is kind of rolling with that. As for physical ranged... maybe something that uses crossbows?

I do believe we will get a few more expansions minimum. This game is popular and makes SE $$ for their other game projects.
We at least should be getting a new healer and of course as per usual a plethora of dps

It used to be jobs were 70-80% unique, with 20-30% overlap in things like
-Gap Closer (Spineshatter Dive, Shoulder Tackle)
-Self mititgation (Second Wind, Perfect Dodge, Keen Flurry)
-Single GCD DoT (Phlebotemize, Touch of Death, Mutilate)

But now jobs are 70-80% homogenous, with 20-30% being their flavor (Jumps, Chakra, Mudras, Cards, Fairy).

But like even tanks for example:
-Edge of Shadow/Flood of Shadow=Burst Strike/Fated Circle=Holy Spirit/Holy Circle=Fell Cleave/Decimate
-Delirium=Requiescat=Bloodfest=Inner Release

I'm starting to wonder if they're running out of FF jobs to draw from. Maybe they could further refine the soul crystals so you can split Samurai into a specialization like Sekiseigumi (whom might use firearms with their katana) or spec into a Blademaster that has more katana emotes? I'm just wildly speculating here but it does seem like we're running out of base weapon types.

Probably at least two more expansions worth.

-Beastmaster/Puppeteer
-Mimic
-Freelancer
-Time mage
-Merchant
-Mystic Knight

To name a few just whether they want to use existing jobs or make new ones

I suppose I should clarify and mean viable MMORPG jobs. We learned with Blue Mage that not all jobs translate properly. There's not that much difference between say the job of Fusilier with the job of Flintlock so they might not be viable to put into FFXIV because their weapons are already nearly identical to that of Machinist.

Umm there's alot of jobs they can draw from like Geomancer, Rune Fencer, Puppetmaster, Sage, Thief, Juggler, Freelancer, Beastmaster, Corsair, Gambler, ect..

Only problem of that FFXIV suffers from the Holy Trinity system which hinder jobs where they feel all the same instead of unique, instead they can't be true to it's job identity.

I'm sure we'll get a few more jobs at least. Square has had a lot of success with MMOs so they will likely make a new one once they're done here.
